So many years, so much I did with these wonderful friends of mine. Such a huge influence on my life, on my friends. Lives dedicated to our calling. Change these words some to fit us today, the message rings true
" It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion " I can think of many friends who have lives dedicated to our calling, Caving we call it, Cavers we call ourselves. We separate ourselves from the rest of the people. We recognize a family based on our common interest / dedication and the bonding that our sport-science carries with it. Years have flowed into decades with so many shared moments and memories. I am forever grateful for the times I got to share with these great cavers. They gave their full measure of devotion to our cause. We can only hope that our dedication is equal Grubbsi
