There is a Bill on the Governor's desk that if he does not veto will become effective Sept. 1st.
Fines will increase for some crimes, for example DWI. I heard they are adding a "state fine" to the "statutory fine" and removing "surcharge." That all is over my 71 IQ. I imagine someone on this listserve is more familiar than I am with the impact of this. On a lighter note, we should not permit brass-knuckles at caving events. I think nunchucks have to remain inside the car.
