I also lived in Vernon, Austin, Lubbock, and Harlingen. I worked in Texas, Mexico, Belize, western states from California to Alaska, Oklahoma and Missouri. In 1998 I became the cave biologist for the Missouri Department of Conservation, retiring there in 2012. Gayle and I met in Jefferson City, Missouri. She came from Kansas, is a biologist and an art quilter, and has lived in Texas before. We have family in Austin, Gonzales, and Kansas. It’s great to be back in my hometown! Thanks, *William R.
