I had texlive 2011 installed on Fedora 16 and right now updated to 2012
because I had (and still have) following problem with xelatex:
xelatex abstract.tex
This is XeTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.3-0.9997.6 (TeX Live 2012/dev)
restricted \write18 enabled.
kpathsea: Running mktexfmt xelatex.fmt
I can't find the format file `xelatex.fmt'!
Is this a known problem? Am I doing something wrong?
