fortunately people at savannah found a backup made in date 20090527
(see the message )
it is available via svn
svn co svn://svn.sv.gnu.org/backup-20090527/texmacs
or directly rsync to copy the repo
rsync rsync://svn.sv.gnu.org/svn/backup-20090527/texmacs
If you want to check out I suggest you to use the command
svn co svn://svn.sv.gnu.org/backup-20090527/texmacs/trunk/src
since otherwise you will check out the full repo including all the tags.
I've checked a bit and this backup seems in sync with Nobert git repo
(last revision 2711) so I think it is safe to ask people
at savannah to recover from this backup.
Please check it out to see if it is ok for you also.
