Dear Hu,
I finally managed to reproduce this bug.
Max: under Ubuntu 10.10, you have to ibus as your
"Keyboard input method system" in System -> Administration -> Language support.
Furthermore, in System -> Preferences -> Keyboard input methods,
add the "Japanese - Anthy" Input method (for instance).
Relogin and launch TeXmacs, select Japanese language and
enable Anthy from the keyboard icon.
The problem is that the cursor keys *do* move the cursor inside
the pre-edit string, but the current position is not correctly
sent to TeXmacs. For instance, when typing
noro left left x,
I indeed get the x on the left in my pre-edit "window",
but the cursor remains on the right (as confirmed by selecting
Keyboard in the Debug menu).
