Thanks Miguel,

The below version does not (yet) fix the eps problem, though. I tried to
compile the svn version myself, using:

./configure GUILE_CFLAGS="pkg-config --static --cflags guile-1.8"
GUILE_LDFLAGS="pkg-config --static --libs guile-1.8"
GUILE_DATA_PATH="pkg-config --variable=datadir guile-1.8"
\GUILE_VERSION="pkg-config --modversion guile-1.8" --with-qt=/sw/lib/qt4-mac/bin

and then

make MACOS_BUNDLE

but I am getting the following error

clang: error: unsupported option '--cflags'
clang: error: no such file or directory: 'pkg-config'
clang: error: no such file or directory: 'guile-1.8'
make[1]: *** [Objects/QTMFileDialog.o] Error 1
make: *** [TEXMACS] Error 2

Cheers,
Peter

P.S. I noticed an appcast.xml on the ftp server link you provided. Is an
automatic update mechanism planned? Would be great!
