Denis,
All I needed to do is
export TEXMACS_PATH=/home/ko/build/TeXmacs-1.99.3-9747M-i386-pc-linux-gnu
Afterwards, I do
[ko@kzin ~/build/TeXmacs-1.99.3-9747M-i386-pc-linux-gnu]$ bin/texmacs
Fontconfig error: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/10-scale-bitmap-fonts.conf", line
70: non-double matrix element
Fontconfig error: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/10-scale-bitmap-fonts.conf", line

Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/10-scale-bitmap-fonts.conf", line

TeXmacs] With linked TrueType support
Reading ko-kbd.scm...
QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths:

[ko@kzin ~/build/TeXmacs-1.99.3-9747M-i386-pc-linux-gnu]$
PDF export works fine, thank you!
I would be interested to know why I have the export problem when I
compile the same version on FreeBSD.
