Dear all, I just checked with TeXmacs 1.99.16 (the last version I found) on Windows 10. Unfortunately the behaviour remains basically the same, with the same errors. Only the loading requester seems a bit more responsive when navigating the network disks, but at the end no file is opened, with basically the same error of the version 1.99.11 (“The file //somenetwork/somefile.tm cannot be loaded or created“). There is the same backslash -> slash inversion, and again, when exporting, the same errors show up (e.g. .pdf and .ps exporting works, all the other not). Best, Lorenzo
PS I should add that, as explained by Denis, if you map the network path to the local filesystem (\\somenetwork\ e.g. mapped as Z: ) everything is fine (both with version 1.99.11 and 1.99.16) on 4 December 2020 at 15:45:03, TeXmacs (texm...@lix.polytechnique.fr) wrote: Hi Lorenzo, On Fri, Dec 04, 2020 at 02:48:30PM +0100, lid lor wrote: > Not immediately, unfortunately. > It will require asking the IT guys to install the updated version, and > this is going to take some days. OK, please let us know when you can test with the current version. I am afraid that the problem will still be present, but we have changed quite a few things, so one never knows... Thanks for your help in any case. Best wishes, --Joris _______________________________________________ Texmacs-dev mailing list Texmacs-dev@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/texmacs-dev
