Hi Marc, I asked about this in the forum [1]. It can be fixed if every instance of TeXmacs is started with additional „-platform wayland“ from command line as sharkc pointed out in his patch for Arch.
In general, the fix would be that TeXmacs detects whether Wayland or X11 is running and switches internally to the correct session type.
