One selling point we've used before in Wikimedia Italia is cross-linking.
The simplest kind is interwiki links: if there's a Wikipedia article
about the book or its author, an incoming link will make the articles
more useful and the book more visible. Annotations or simple links from
the book itself to other books and wiki pages can be a significant value
add in some cases.
