I just speak up here for the best way to start: IMHO it's reading the CookBook page also mentioned within every "About i18n/l10n support" section I wrote by now. [1] Basically get used to the format of a POT/PO file, create a fresh new one for your language, if it's not there by now, edit away with a PO file editor (recommended for starters) or just a plain editor, if you know what and how to format it on your own. Test your translation, then post it a) at Transifex b) as an attachment to a new ticket for the plugin in question c) send it to me directly I'll (technically) test it again and then take care for inclusion with the current plugin's source. I apologize for so many links to Transifex being broken these days. This is still the result of the switch to a brand new website and API, that was not as sane and well communicated as the Transifex pages suggest. In fact changes have been unnecessary disruptive (breaking all those links) while at least a compatibility layer could have been placed with low cost. I've even experienced there has even some content been missed in the conversation process of available content. I've still to confirm and figure out how to recover. This is hard, because Transifex staff has a quite slow pace in responding and fixing things. So i.e. the client needed for maintaining projects was an early beta, not to mention it does information management quite different than before. All in all it'll still cost me some more time to setup things on my side only to just be able to restore all links and get full control over the sources. Sorry, however I've been quick with giving back to plugin maintainers in the paste and I'll try hard to keep up that pace. So please go on. Your contribution will be highly appreciated, even more if you look not only for TagsPlugin but for more great plugins waiting to be translated into a lot more languages than what is available by now.
