Hello,

hereby I announce public availability of acct_mgr-0.3.1, the first
maintenance release for the current stable release 0.3 of
AccountManagerPlugin [1].

Right after release of 0.3 last week I discovered a dozen problems with
Trac 0.11 applications. These have been collected in a dedicated ticket
[2] and resolved ASAP. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused
meanwhile.

Unquestionable I should have done own compatibility tests before. But
obviously I felt like myself being too busy with other stuff and to
confident in silent peer-review to give it high priority. Ok, some
lessons learned at my side.

While it feels stable now, I've been very disappointed with the much
reduced feedback on actions from pages provided by AccountManagerPlugin
in 0.11 compared to Trac 0.12 and beyond. Osimons helped me (yet another
time) to understand more of the underlying principles.

I'll observe the implications of using modern trac.web.chrome
incantations like `add_warning` & Co. much closer in the future and will
try hard to migrate existing messages to be more backwards-compatible as
contribute to the apparently high number of existing Trac 0.11
applications [3]. I still encourage you to consider upgrading to stable
Trac 0.12.x as soon as you can handle it.

I'm looking forward to your feedback.

Sincerely,

Steffen Hoffmann
