Written by a visitor to India, a Christian. (Another group) I have no particular part in this, being a rational humanist and therefore without a belief in the power of rituals and superstition, but the website http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/demographics.asp might be a good place to read an alternative view of the demographics involved. Hasn't India had enough of this sort of religion-based hatred? Aren't the newspapers already too full of the effects of this medieval mindset? But I am only a visitor, and it is your country, and your cultural heritage, so we must all wait for time and education to bring some sort of collective common sense and understanding to bear on the problem.
