Dear Mr. Chander,
Nice to see your mail here. Just leave it at that
,if at all anyone doesn't want to read something and feels it a bad taste
they can quietly delete it or if they find the group not to their mark, can
also quietly leave without hurting anyone's feeling. There is no use of
making a big hue and cry of anything. There are worst things going around
children nowadays which maybe some parents don't know or don't want to know.
That's their problem anyway.
Good to see you back and would like to see you
as usual with all the variety in your writing. All the best and welcome
back.

Dear Friends,
I am thankful to you all for showing your bond with me. First and foremost,
I must reaffirm that I was not hurt and I do not have ego problem. My mail
was simple. I promptly apologized as a gentleman to members who felt bad
and felt that I am not in right company (*wrong person in right company*)
and if people do not enjoy my company then I have no business to be in that
company. At this age if people cannot enjoy a good laughter then all I can
say God Bless them. My forwards have been from religious to political to
jokes (stand comedy, black comedy and double meaning). I thought I was
catering to the infotain-needs of various types of members. If I was in
their place, I would have used an option, delete the mail after reading the
title. I couldn't agree more with a person after this episode who had said
that Indians do not have sense of humour.

If you remember, first time someone objected, I decided to send a personal
mail to members who would like to receive my forwards, and I got a good
amount of response. But I was persuaded by few to send mail to group only.

This time some one sent me mail objecting but heading was as follows.

Friends, I joined this group only last week. I wanted to share the messages
with my family. But when I read this message, I wanted to keep my family
members out of reach of this site.

Please make all understand that we THATHAS & PATTYS need meaningful
information, not trash like this.

with regards,

But I never got the mail of Moderator. To be frank with you, till date I
have not tried to find out who the moderators are.

My point is let the moderator draw a line beyond which mail should not go.
Like some one said that he is in group because of Gopa90 but even Gopa90
jokes about saints and others too could be termed as in bad taste if these
people wanted and I quote "we THATHAS & PATTYS need meaningful information"

With best wishes and greeting for the coming Deepawali
