Please do not have any apprehension that India will be a Muslim country. Even strong heads like Aurangzeb could not convert India to a Muslim country. Budhism was at peak in the first century but Hinduism bounced back. During British Rule lots of Hindus and Muslim converted to Christianity but got back to their religion after independence. In my opinion, the Hindu Samaj has to seriously accept reconvertability of people back to Hindu fold. The concept that Hindu is born and not made has to change.
