There is no doubt that people have made crores. The people involved are others than Mr S Kalmadi. If you see the distribution of funds to Delhi Government, Uraban Ministry, DDA, MCD and NDMC are much larger than what Kalmadi got.
The other politicians to hide their misdoing, took potshot at Kalamadi. I agree with u that we cannot work as a team. Regarding comments by Bhanot, I will say that we have more tolerance for bad hygiene than our western counterparts. I agree that there are only two aspect of hygiene and these are good and bad.. There is nothing else. Emmar-MGF was given contract by Urban Ministry and DDA to make village. When they were constructing the village, they put up structures which were not approved. Later when they found that they could not dispose off the flats and make money, they stopped. DDA decided to buy the flats to bail the builder out. See the comparision --- Emmar-mgf doing shoddy work in India and world class work in UAE. The difference is corruption and many politicians made money. Kalmadi came into picture when the flats were to handed over to OC. The furniture was to be done by ITDC. You may call it failure of collective responsibilitly but for me it to find a scape goat for their doing or misdoing...
