*I'm indeed angry to hear allegations on a person who has made a history of
working for the people and for promoting Democracy. His efforts in enactment
of Right To Information Act in India and launching cleanliness campaign in
Maharshtra are proof of his being a leader of the people.

Not enough to be angry to hear allegations on a person who has made a
history of working for the people ... but yet ....

Anna Hazare "the most corrupt individual and a hypocrite", says a Former
Maharashtra Minister Suresh Jain. He is engaged in cross defamation criminal
complaints with Hazare since 2003. The focus of his complaint revolves
around certain charitable trusts set up by Hazare with foreign funds
received as awards like Magsaay award and counter bank loans taken but not
reported to Charity Commissioner. Anna later admitted too!

I'm indeed angry to hear allegation on a person who has made a history of
working for the people and for promoting Democracy. His efforts in enactment
of Right To Information Act in India and launching cleanliness campaign in
Maharshtra are proof of his being a leader of the people.

Is it a fact or not that when the Co-Op banks in question demanded a copy of
the approvals from the Charity
Commissioner and Hazare, instead, unleashed his RTI army on them and made
all sorts of allegations about Co-Op banks / CoOp Societies, many of which
he later withdrew? Also he had made insinuations against Justice P.B.Sawant
who found prima facie material to continue these cross prosecutions. The
allegations are pending before criminal courts where both parties are
represented. It's said Anna Hazare had questioned Justice Sawant's integrity
and had refused to adjudicate between them.

One may, perhaps, even wonder at whether Anna Hazare is a professional
faster averaging two fasts-unto-death per year! So far he has had six
"ultimate" fasts to weed out corruption in this decade. These fasts defy all
science. Anna Hazare's fasts last for about 12 days during which he claimed
not to have drunk even any liquids. Today too the doctors have examined him
and found him to be "normal". Is the fast then fake? At 40 degrees Celsius
in the shade even a healthy survival trained person cannot last without
fluid beyond 4 days without hospitalisation. Yet Hazare is normal and his
BP too is also normal.
Unfortunately, on the other hand, our political nexus will always try to
malign the right people. We've to move the nation. Adverse publicity at such
times is also publicity. But it gives more determination to complete the
task. When people walk, dogs will bark.

If one wants to do social work with real zeal, it's not possible to do so
much reporting. No wonder, so many NGOs that start with good objectives land
up doing paper work. Anna openly told the donors that he can not send so
many reports whether they give donations in future or not. It's a reality
that we have to understand and not measure individuals on lack of innocuous
paper work. Anna's work talks much more than any paper work would do.

These paper works also ensure that only 15% of Govt.'s funds reach the true
beneficiary in villages. Why we want to blame Anna for the ills that should
be done away with. He has dared to fight those ills. Kudos to him.

It's, however, better for us to feel with some conviction that Anna Hazare
isn't part of the DISEASE but part of the CURE.

Issues not personalities are important. Outcomes, not technicalities are
significant. For the alleged wrong doings even decorated war battered
Generals have to the pay the price. Let the Jury be out on all such people
and there are many! Even Hazare, appropriately. Or for that matter on others
who are basking in the reflected glory of a great cause. No one can-and
should-remain unaccountable.

How under the sun an appropriate legislation(and this is just the drafting
stage) going to benefit personally
the people alleged to have shady past (present)?

Let no one be swayed away by semantic jugglery. Let the facts be presented
in most logical and comprehensible manner, without recourse to extraneous
factors/considerations.

Sure he is doing his best. How come some diverts from Corruption fight to
personal criticism. We should give strength to this fight. If even for sake
of argument we consider ANNA a wrong person we should look his fight ,

We're not here for ANNA but Fight Against corruption.
Let's save OUR INDIA FROM CORRUPTION.

There may be some hidden hands behind the curtain. I have myself more
experience of such Corruption. My own Dictionary meaning. "Not to take any
action too amounts to corruption". I don't hold Manmohan uncorrupt. We've
seen this for long!
Why some persons are so much upset with the step taken by Anna? Is the Govt
trying to sabotage his movement by branding it political motivated? Netas
say that Anna is in a hurry. In fact I rue why he has taken this step so
late, if he has taken this step earlier, there might not been a series of
scams.

And for a Bill, is the 42 years' period short? What ournetas have to say?
During this long period, we've seen govts of Congress and BJP both and
sundries too - including those of Janata Pary led by Morarji Desai, V.P.
SIngh and Deve Gowda! They were short lived facing internal squables most of
the time and most of them fell without completing their respective terms!

And finally, the following points are glaring: *

   - *In the name of Anna Hajare INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION has Collected
donations of a minimum Rs.500/- each from individuals. *
   - *One political party from AP is also allgedly behind this! In the name
of anti corruption are they are making base at banglore with public money?
   *
   - *Why the backdrop of Hazare's fasting podium has a portrait of Bharat
Mata swathed in Chinese colours in the "Red corridor" with the Indian Flag
   dipping to China?*

*Tail Piece:
Will the panel report be unanimous and meaningful?
Won't it only go to a 'subcommittee?
Will the Bill see the.light of theday 'soon' after June 30!

Any reactions?
