A member of another Group had very kindly shared a link that traces the History of Kerala and the Agraharams.
I too had attempted to trace the roots of our ancestors, if not from Bronze Age, from a village near Tanjore to their journey to Palghat centuries ago, and their story of *rags to riches, to rags, and to normal *present day lives. I did this to set the ball rolling when we established a family Yahoogroups, VKR-Family, to bond well and stay connected with one another in our extended family of about 50 persons - the five of us children to our parents, our children, and their children. The second input was introducing my father, or Thatha to my children and their cousins most of whom were in early teens to remember him well. I am attaching a copy. Bearing in mind the patience-span of the younger generation, I have tried to make this more a human-interest story. If I have succeeded, please read on; if not, help yourself with the Delete key.
