If you are going to use particular apps which only iphone has, then go for it. It is a style statement.... The new os is power consuming software and apple has not found any answer to it....
I will still suggest that you go for Samsung Sii smart phone and i can say that it is a better phone than i-phone... The OS is vibrant and you will get most of apps free. I have seen iphone used by my daughter and son-in-law, i did not find it interesting... May be some apps.... I saw Galaxy Si and was more smarter. recently introduced Sii is still better. price difference of 12000 or so is another incentive....
