Dear CNET members, In a recent interview with Dan Lyons for the *Daily Beast*, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak flat out admitted that he's not only is a big fan of Android phones, but he also said the Android platform has some significant advantages over iPhones.
Wow! Now that's quite a different perspective from how Steve Jobs viewed Android phones. According to Jobs' biography, he was furious at Google for what he saw as Android phones being *an outright copy of Apple's ideas* and even swore to "destroy Android" using every bit of Apple's bankroll to see it through. I certainly didn't see that coming from Wozniak. To me it's like a Ford representative saying that Chevy trucks have some advantages over the Ford truck line. I give it to Wozniak for his honesty, as I think most folks in his position would never dream of doing so. So what you think? If you were Wozniak, would you admit it? Would you have done the same? Do you agree with his statements? What impact do you think Wozniak's statements have on Apple or himself--good or bad? Read the blog post from CNET editor Steven Musil--*Woz concedes Android advantages over iPhone*--and see what your fellow members have to say and when you're ready, chime in with your two cents about the topic. Cheers! -Lee -- With best wishes S Chander
