Dear friends,
Let me share the wonderful experience of an online task.
1. On the 5th inst I renewed my motor policy for two wheeler with UI(United
India) , online.
2. After, payment only receipt was available, no policy was displayed  for
print.
3. email received says the policy and receipt attached, but only receipt
attached.
4. Wrote to the "customercare" and "support" of  UI, by email. on the 6th
inst.
5. No response reply from both.
6. On the 20th inst, I lodged a grievance  in UI portal.
7. Reply promptly received as "policy uploaded in the portal", hard copy
sent by mail.
8. Meaning of "uploaded" not understandable. Searched the entire portal,
which has no option to print any
      specific policy. The reply to the grievance also received in hard
copy, but not the "Policy"
9. Gave a ring to the toll free number in the office hours . Response "call
could not be attended".
10.Gave a ring to the Bangalore regional office, directed person could not
be contacted.
11. Went to the "GOI public grievance cell portal" and lodged the grievance
 on the 26th inst .
12.The policy has come via online this day.
What a wonderful experience  "at the click of a button"
