Thought provoking stories
We are toldlife is a journey and it is not permanent .Well let us make it purpose ful .Wecollect degrees and indulge in namedropping ,succumb to the intense yearning to be loved and recognized . Why isit always about others why not we start it our way if we want love try givingit ,if we want sympathy and help trygiving it , believe me it will come back to you . please do not be too sensitive or unhappy about anything , ITWILL PASS. We condemn a person , please realize it is not the person it is acertain quality of the person u r not happy about. All have rajasic, sattvicand tamasic qualities. No one is bad or good all are human and certain negativequalities come to the surface and can be traumatic to all. Lastweek there was a discussion in our house and this gentleman was telling us he was anatheist . The statement was okay , but it made me think . The usual questionpopped in , who are we trying to impress, if we don’t believe in the almightyit is ur personal issue . Hinduism is a religion where people confuse thespiritual and the ritualistic division . An atheist is a person who tells usGod is the biggest superstition . Let us thinkagain ,we all know there is a higher power which is watching over us and all ofus at some stage have gone thro that experience. Our religion worships the Navagrahas, Nature and and pancha bhutas. Ritualism has come inbecause it is a path to a belief system which gives us peace and forms ananchor. Overdoing and obsession are the disaster creating results. When we facerejection or go thro tragedies , our anchor and support is praying andappealing to the higher power for solace. We searchfor divinity and there is the answer to our questions ,God reveals himself inpeople and their activities which stuns and humbles us .I would like to narratereal life stories where we view the almighty and that is the God we pray to. There was a12 year old girl in kumbakonam the celebrated temple town of india. She was theprecious darling of the aristocratic joint family of the agrahaaram. It was awonderful sight to see her long tresses beautifully plaited with jasmineflowers and it was declared she was thesakhshhat devi come down from heaven to be with the family.Earlymorning one Friday the entire family came to the porch and almost swooned , thelittle girl had completely shaved of her hair anxious questions brought noanswers . She coolly went in had her bath put on her uniform and went to school. the entire family ran to the school and what the teacher and principal told themstunned the entire group a groupnamaskaram was done by the entire neighborhood. The storygoes, her class mate had a series of chemotherapy sessions and had lost her hair.We all know how traumatized the child would have been . This girl took thisdecision so she could be with her as her support, till her hair grew back. It was adivine spontaneous and pure gesture and goes without saying you have witnessedthe almighty there. God fearing attitudes and belief are communing with the cosmicforce. We r mortals and let us not indulge in pompous statements. Enjoy, spreadpositive values if u can . the most important task take care of the children ofthe world and don’t be a source ofnegative force.
