*Do not download the ‘anydesk’ app or other similar applications* * Dear Customer, The ‘AnyDesk’ app is a new modus operandi by fraudsters to gain access to your bank details & carry out fraudulent transactions.* * Here’s what you should know:- * *The fraudster will request the victim to download an app ‘AnyDesk’ from Play Store/App Store.* *The fraudster will then ask the victim to share the 9 digit 'AnyDesk' app code which he will insert in his device.* *Post this, the fraudster will ask the victim to grant certain permissions similar to what are required while using other apps. Hence, giving him access to the victim’s device.* *This will allow the fraudster to carry out fraudulent transactions through the app on the victim’s mobile device, for any mobile banking app or payment related app.* * Be aware there can be other applications of similar nature & same modus operandi. Please do not share any code or data with any unknown person.*
