அந்தாதி சொன்னேனோ அமுதனாரைப் போலே! *பெரிய கோவில் நம்பி, ஸ்ரீ ரங்கத்து கோவில் அதிகாரியாக இருந்து, தொடக்க காலத்தில் இராமானுஜரின் சீர்திருத்தங்கள் பிடிக்காமல் அவரை அலட்சியப்படுத்தியவர், பின் நாளில், கூரத்தாழ்வாரின் அறிவுரைகளால், உடையவரின் நோக்கத்தில் இருந்த பரிசுத்தம் புரிந்து, அவரைச் சரணடைந்தார். இராமானுஜரும் அவருக்குத் "திருவரங்கத்து அமுதனார்" என்று பெயர் சூட்டினார்.* *அமுதனார் ஒரு நாள், இராமானுஜரின் பெருமையைப் போற்றும் விதமாக, அவரை வாழ்த்தி, அந்தாதி ஒன்று இயற்றி, இராமனுஜரிடம் வழங்கினார். ஆனால், இராமானுஜரோ, தன்னைப் பற்றிய போற்றுதல் அதிகமாக இருப்பதால், அந்த ஓலைச் சுவடியை வாங்கி வைத்துக்கொண்டார், அந்தாதிக்கு அங்கீகாரம் வழங்கவில்லை. மேலும், “உமக்கு எழுத வேண்டும் என்று தோன்றினால், நமது திவ்யதேசங்கள் பற்றியோ, அல்லது பன்னிரு ஆழ்வார்களைப் பற்றியோ, ஆச்சார்யர்கள் பற்றியோ அல்லது கூரத்தாழ்வாரைக் குறித்தோ எழுது." என்றார்.* *அமுதனாரோ, "இராமானுஜர் நூற்றந்தாதி” எழுதினார். ஒவ்வொரு பாடலிலும் முதல் இரண்டு வரிகளில் ஆழ்வார்கள் மற்றும் ஆச்சாரியர்களின் பெருமையைச் சொல்லி, பிந்தைய இரண்டு வரிகளில் அவர்களின் சம்பந்தம் பெற்ற இராமானுஜரின் பெருமையை எழுதினார். ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தில் உள்ள காட்டு அழகிய சிங்கர் சன்னதியில் அமர்ந்து அனைவருக்கும் சொல்லிய போது, தற்செயலாக ஸ்ரீ இராமானுஜர் அங்கு எழுந்தருளினார். அவரும் நூற்றந்தாதியை முழுமையாகக் கேட்டார். அவர் மறுத்துச் சொல்ல முடியாதபடி ஆழ்வார்கள் மற்றும் ஆச்சாரியர் பெருமை கூறப்பட்டபடியால், அதை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்.* *இந்த நூற்றந்தாதியினைத் திருவரங்கத்தில் இராமானுசரின் சிஷ்யர்கள் ஓதுவது வழக்கமாயிற்று. இதைத் தானும் கேட்டு இன்புற வேண்டும் என்று விரும்பிய நம்பெருமாள், இராமானுஜரை மடத்திற்குச் செல்லப் பணித்துவிட்டு, சப்தாவரணப் புறப்பாடின் போது, வாத்திய கோஷத்தை நிறுத்தி விட்டு, இராமானுஜ நூற்றந்தாதியை மட்டும் ஓதச் சொல்லிக் கேட்டு உகந்தருளினார்.திருக்கோளூர் அம்மாள், “அமுதனாரைப் போல் என் ஆச்சார்யான் மீது அந்தாதி பாடினேனா”, என்று வினவுகிறார். * *========**********======== ********======== ********======== **** * *Anthathi chonneno amudanaarai poale* *During Ramanuja's time at Srirangam, there was a great scholar there called Periya Koyil Nambi (also Thiruvarangathu Amudhanar), who held a high office at the temple. Initially he was antagonistic to Ramanuja. Ramanuja corrected him through Kooraththazhvan and he became a disciple of Azhvan. He then developed great devotion toward Ramanuja. Since he was capable of writing wonderful and sweet poems, he was also called as "Amudhanar”.* *One time he wrote a few verses praising Ramanuja and submitted them to Ramanuja. Ramanuja rejected them and threw them away saying that those verses were not appropriate. He then suggested to Amudhanar "If you still wish to write verses about us, write about our great affinity to the divyadesams, Azhvars, our acharyas such as Nathamunigal and Alavandar and your acharya Kooraththazhvan".* *Amudhanar, in turn, wrote the famous Ramanuja Nutrandhadhi - 108 verses in andhadhi style, in which each verse uses the word Ramanuja while showing Ramanuja's affinity to divyadesams, Azhvars and Acharyas. When Ramanuja heard this work, he approved it and it was determined that this work would become part of the daily recitation (nityAnusandAnam) for all Srivaishnavas.
