Vigilantism can also be used to describe a general state of lawlessness
or chaos, when competing groups of people, such as opposing gangs, all
claim to enforce the law in a given area affected by that lawlessness. Many
vigilantes have good intentions, and believe they are bettering their
communities by protecting those vulnerable to legal exploitation Extremism

also a vigilante once when Ms Chitra broke the BOFORS long ago. So
Gopinath is neither innocent nor fighting for the truth but would be a HIS
MASTER’S VOICE, to protect the really hardened criminals. “First, it must
be said loud and clear, so the ‘nation may know’, that even though Mr
Gopinath ex Deccan, HMV of a Network, may have been disrespectful, rude,
obnoxious and mean on his articles to people who may well be innocent, even
though he may be a kind of lyncher for the network=HMV, in cahoots with
his in-camera-words, storms against the rightness , with utter disregard
for the privacy and dignity of the people whom he tramples on with sadistic
pleasure, police Govt and tycoons vigilante justice in retaliation to his
vigilante journalism cannot be condoned.
2 How did Mr G an ordy citizen knew that the case against Arnab is
legitimate and if so, he knew, why would say “MAY” have a? Probably would
argue that MAY means SHALL. If there is only a MAY why would police action
is justified in his thinking? In his statement his weakness is revealed in
one sentence “opt for retributive justice against private entities, even if
such entities, like ‘Republic TV’, run amok”; a media as Justice
Chandrachud observed may or may not be viewed at all ,yet does the
retributive justice served by the Police and Govt media?. Does not the apex
court know the when and when not to revoke article 32? And does he not know
that facts do vary in each case and hence the legal measures may also
change accordingly?
3 Does it make any sense under the head line The irony where he
blows hot and cold, without any identification, playing the chess moves,
according to his whims, unaware of, he is being check-mated? ‘The channel
that never raised its voice in defence of many of their journalist
colleagues when they were arrested, assaulted, some jailed on improbable
charges of sedition, and a few even killed began taking refuge in amnesia”
sounds that Arnab action is justified. So there is assault, Improbability,
Killing and all against the journalists and how then Mr G is turning the
table without thinking all those could apply? Mr G also never wrote
anything about those then. “Television Gladiator, Media Rambo” etc would
apply to all the media anchors and the participants, across the world, in
all channels, where we hear, a lot of shouting only and if so why would
Gopinath classify Media Goswamy as a monster? No doubt that the freedom of
the press is sacred, but the freedom of the people and the Judiciary is
also equally sacred which Mr Gopinath should have pondered. Bail should
have been granted as he said and it is YES; and that is what the Apex court
felt painful to know the observations of the lowest was not considered by
the lower court and so had to interfere and it was felt by 2 judges and
different sex who viewed similarly. Mr Gopinath perhaps is escaping from
