Sir
Coffee was a new habit recently; and from North Tea also was added;
western ghats of the south have several plantations; but degree coffee was
evolved only from Kumbakonam; and Venkateswara cafe close to station was
once prominent; the brass tumbler or cup and dabaraa were once famous among
the brahmin homes; taste of coffee is in the decoction, first from the
filter; and the thick milk; light, strong, double strong coffees according
to the taste; though has caffeine, yet good for the heart, if consumed, in
limits; tea and black tea is also far better than the coffee; yet the
coffee taste is unbeatable. People use chicory for blend and in my opinion,
it is not welcome; those who like chicory may also like readymade coffee,
like Bru etc; I do not like them; coffee is a problem in kerala tour and I
thank INDIA COFFEE HOUSE on the highway; now NH 47 has KUMBAKONAM DEGREE
COFFEE ,strewn all over, but where is the originality?. K R IRS 161120
