Q2         What universities existed in Tamil Nadu during the Sangamage similar
to Takshasila and Nalanda?

A2          Venkata Rao February 15-2021Ph.D in Psychology, Monash University,
Australia

The concept of University was alien to early Hindu ( Brahmin society).Learning
was done in Gurukulas . Gurukula was run by a Brahmin family usually husband
and wife and theSishyas will reside in the Guru’s house doing the household
chores andlearn Vedas and other scriptures . This will go on for a few years
till periodof Brahmacharya is over and then the sishya will depart and be on
his own. Sishyas who lived in theneighbourhood of the Guru will be day scholars.

The concept of a university isa Buddhist idea . The Buddhists were against the
Gurukula system and they used to teachtheir doctrines to anyone irrespective of
caste. Also Buddhists encouragedwriting and thus their doctrines were written
in various types of dried leavesand preserved. Thus libraries came into being.
Teaching was done near theselibraries and thus universities were formed.

Both Taxila and Nalanda wereBuddhist universities in North India and they were
built by Buddhist kings in north India. Buddhistkings never ruled south India .
Tamilnadu was always ruled by Hindu kings and this could be the reasonwhy
University proper was not started in Tamilnadu.

The Brahmins present in south India also followed the gurukula systemonly.

A3          Subhasis Dutta Roy UpdatedOctober 1-2020 Working in Indian Railways
at Indian Railways (2001–present)

What is the meaning of “Chord”?

More generally, a chord is aline segment joining two points on any curve,It
mainly connects two pointsthrough the shortest distance. InRailways, it is the
shortest railway distance between two stations.

For example. From our home station Burdwan to Howrah there are tworailway route
is available. One longer route via Bandle and short route viaDankuni.

Via the main line or via Bandle Burdwan, Howrah distance is approximately106
km.Via chord line Burdwan, Howrah distance is approximately 96 km.

I uploaded an image and indicate both the chord and mainline from Burdwanto
Howrah.

Q4         Why was Sanjivani not used by others after Lord Hanumanshowed a sure
way to bring the almost dead to life?

A4          Sunitha Parapatla March26, 2020 Devotee of God Shiva and a Home
maker

Sanjivani Bhooti, the miracle herb which would bring almost dead to lifewas
existing since times immemorial on our planet.

It came into people’s notice inTrethayug, after Lord Hanuman brought the herb
from Himalayas to Sri Lanka to relieveLakshman from unconsciousness, when he
fainted during the war with King Ravana.

But Sanjivani herb was usedbefore in Satyaguya by the Guru of the Asuras or
demons, Sukracharya.

Sukracharya did years ofpenance for God Shiva and Shiva pleased with his
penance granted him theSanjeevani mantra ( a formula that revived the dead).
With this knowledge, he relievedmany Asuras back to life.

Butas the time passed by, because of ignorance and losing of all the great
booksand knowledge passed on by our ancestors, we lost the sanjivani herb and
it'spowers may be.

In my perspective, every Yuga has one dharma and it has to abide to
thatparticular Yuga. So in this Kaliyug, the dark age where adharma is at its
peak, maybe the Sanjivani herb may not work with the same intensity with which
it workedin Satya yuga or Trethayuga.

TechnicalUniversity (2018)Answered January 27-2021

Here are some ridiculous inventions we hope to never see hit the main stream:-

Diet Water :- The most worryingthing about this is that someone had so little
faith in the human race thatthey believed this would sell.

Privacy Scarf :- There will be plentyof privacy when you’ve been ostracised
from society.

Goldfish Walker :- Some people just wantto watch the world burn.

Remote Wrangler :- This facial jockstrapwill probably make finding the remote
even harder. How will you know which oneto grab? What if you forget they’re
there? How will you convince people youhaven’t completely lost your mind ETC

Q7         What are some of the greatest inventions?

A7          Colin Winklevoss, lives in London AnsweredDecember 3-2020

In my eyes these take bronze, silver, and gold!

In 3rd Place…The internet

he internet has allowed humanity to become more interconnected than everin our
wildest dreams. Nikola Tesla foresaw a time when information wouldtravel at
light speed around the earth and called it an age of wonders. And itis.

What is more. The internet has been in popular use for barely twentyyears. Who
knows what can come next. Even now it dominates everything.

Number 2, our silver medalistis…

Fire Or more specifically tools that allow us to create fire.

The ability to summon the red flower allowed us to cook meat.

It allowed us to mine and process metals, essentially catapulting us outof the
stoneage.

The red flower gave man the unbeatable edge over any animal.

And the winner is Language

Humans invented a method to convey our complex thoughts and emotions to
aremarkable degree. This formed the basis for civilisation. For science.
Forreligion. For ways of life. Language is always evolving. But it shapes who
wereare both as individuals and a species.

Runners up include Mathematics,Religion, and the scientific method

Q8         How can plants break down CO2 into atom C and atom O?

A8          4 Answers-James Alexander-Rodriguez, War vet, former airline +
ITtech, starving writer. 24-2-2021

Plants use the energy ofsunlight to cleave the relatively stable chemical bonds
between the carbon andoxygen atoms in a carbon dioxide molecule. In
photosynthesis, the CO2 molecule is initially bondedto nitrogen atoms, making
reactive compounds called carbamates.

Helge Tolleshaug, Ph.D.Cell Biology & Chemistry (1974)24-2-2021

Plants do not directly split Carbon dioxide into Carbon and oxygen. They use
light energy to splitwater, releasing oxygen as a by-product. Hydrogen is
retained as areducing compound that can be used to reduce carbon dioxide in a
specificenzymatic reaction involving CO2 bound to a sugar molecule.

Nour Abdelaziz 24-2-2021

Plants convert carbon dioxideand water into sugar and oxygen through the
process of photosynthesis. Plants absorb carbondioxide from the atmosphere
during photosynthesis. A small amount of carbondioxide is released during leaf
respiration (intake of oxygen), but it isquickly reabsorbed during
photosynthesis.
