Never ever go to the local market and say that you just want to buy“Banana” (
Pisang in their local language). The seller will be confused and willask for the
details of what kind banana you want?

Its different if you go to the Super Market. You will meet only theCavendish
Banana or the Western known Banana.

BUT… in the local market, especially the fruit stall, there are so many kinds of
Bananas. In Indonesia it depends on what you need to do with that
Banana.Theseare a variety of the famous banana that you can find in the local
market.

1 Horn Banana (Plantain) /Pisang Tanduk

This massive banana is not sweet and the texture is hard. It tastes goodwhen
fried and the local also add chili sauce or sweet sauce.

2. Kepok Banana / Pisang Kepok

These look like pressed fat bananas, they’re sweet but very hard if theyaren’t
ripe. The local use it to feed their pet birds and mainly to eat in asweet soup
dish, Kolak.

3. King Banana / Pisang Raja

They’re big. This banana is mainly eaten raw; it's big, sweet and has asoft
texture.

4. Milk Banana / Pisang Susu

The size is medium. This sweet banana is good to eat raw. This banana’sskin is
rather thin when compared to the other bananas.

5. Ambon Banana / Pisang Ambon

They’re big. This banana can be found in two colors. The taste is mediumsweet.

6. Lady Finger Banana - GoldBanana / Pisang Mas

This banana is so small and the taste is sweet.

All of the bananas have their own unique taste and texture. Just buying abanana
in Indonesia can make you stressed.

Oh… and have I mention that there are some jungle bananas that you canrarely
find too? Like the Red Banana or the Crazy Big Musa Ingens Banana? HappyEating

where is the secondlargest wall in the world?

Won’t you be surprised if I sayit’s present in the Indian state of Rajasthan?
Shocked!!

The Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan has got the second largest wall in theworld.

Located 80 Km North of Udaipurin the wilderness, KumbhalgarhFort is the second
largest fort in Rajasthan after Chittorgarh Fort. The fort wall extends to the
enormous length of 36 kilometres and ispopularly known as “The Great Wall of
India”.

A fortress cradled in the Aravalli range, Kumbhalgarh Fort is also
thebirthplace of Mewar’s legendary King Maharana Pratap. In 2013, the fort
wasdeclared a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the 37th session of the World
HeritageCommittee.

The wall stretches for a distance of 36 km and is 15 m wide, broad enoughto
stand eight horses side by side.

Isn't the view amazing? So next time don't forget to visit the Great wall of

Q3         Which material does not absorb light?

A3          Aditya Sudharsanam, Master's Physics, Imperial CollegeLondon (2021)
Answered August 25, 2017

First, I’m going to assume thatby saying light, youmean only radiation in the
‘visible region’ of the spectrum. Whenlight falls on a substance it can either
be reflected, transmitted, orabsorbed. Based on the varying degrees to which
different substances performeach of these actions, theyare distributed into a
scale with “perfect” reflectors at one end and “blackbodies” at the other.

The “..” quotes around blackbodies indicate that the term black body actually
means a substance thatperfectly absorbs all the light falling on it, and is
also a term that cannotbe used to describe substances in reality. This is
because no substance exists that reflects nolight. Simple example is that we
can see everything around us because theyreflect light!.

Similarly, the “..” quotesaround perfect in perfect reflectors, implies that,
no such substance exists that can reflect hundredpercent of the light incident
on it. Any substance in any situationwill reflect, absorb, and transmit in
varying proportions. Mirrors are objectswith any one surface polished or
silvered to an extent that it reflects closeto all of the light incident on it.
On the other hand, Vantablack, is a material that absorbs about 99.965%of
incident light.

Thereis a material called black silicon that almost doesn’t absorb any
incidentlight and is instead textured such that any light falling on it is
reflected sideways beforeit can be reflected back. This , although, gives the
material a black colour,it is not due to high levels of absorption.

The only possible candidatethat may successfully answer your question is still
being developed. Materials called Meta materialscan bend and reflect light such
that it travels around said material. This has great potential in usage as a
cloaking device. Although this may fityour answer, this bending of light has
only been achieved in laboratories usingmicrowaves (lower wavelength and higher
frequency than visible light).

2ND ANSWER

Amritansh, Engine Design,Engineering Research Center (ERC) at Tata Motors
(2018-present) Answered August23, 2017

Light is a broad spectrum ofvarious wavelength. If any object don’t absorb the
light of certain spectrum, then it might be absorbing the other part of
spectrum, which you might not beable to see with your naked eyes.

The best and epic example for this is : GLASS

Glass don’t absorb the visible light, it allowslight to pass through it thus
behaving as transparent. But the very same glassdon’t allow ultraviolet light
to pass through it and thus behaving as opaqueobject to ultraviolet light.

If the material is notabsorbing the light, then it is obviously doing either
one or both of thefollowing two things:

REFLECTION-TRANSMISSION (Related to Transparency)

A white coloured object isreflecting most of the incident light from its
surface. However, technically “Snow” isnot considered a white body, actually it
is more close to the black body, asits emissivity is closer to 0.98. Let’s not
go to that direction andsimply state the real answer to question asked:

Any object which has 100%reflectivity on its surface don’t absorb light.

Any object that is 100%transparent also don’t absorb the light.

3RD ANSWER Arinjay Ghosh, Author Using Pen-name SebastianWillman at Amazon

Whether a material will absorblight or not probably does not depend on the
material. It depends on the colourof the material.

The colour we see are allcomponents of polychromatic light (light comprising
two or more differentwavelengths or colours). The light from the sun is
polychromatic, and when ithits an object, some lights are absorbed and others
are reflected. Onlyspecific wavelengths of light are absorbed by specific
materials.

Now, the reflected light, whenhits our eyes, causes us to see them, and gives
them colours, i.e. thewavelengths emitted. There are a vast range of
wavelengths, and we can see onlyseven of them, a combination of which make
different colours. There are Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red
(arranged in order of decreasing speedand increasing wavelengths)

Black means no emission, whilewhite means emsission of all wavelengths from the
object. Hence, we seeeverything black in absense of light. Emission of all
lights must not beconfused with transparency, which is the ability of an object
to allow light topass through it, not getting reflected.

So, colour depends on lightreflected by a body. Still, if you want me to answer
some natural occurringwhite substances, there are numerous examples. Many salts
are white in colour, especially if they do not have enough energy to emit colour
(wavelength).

When we dissolve a white salt in water, we get a colourless solution, aswhite
means no absorption. Hence, white salts arescientifically termed colourless.

Q4         Why does Hinduism put so many restrictions on women? Isthere an
explanation on why women are not allowed to pray during periods?

A4          Rohan Goswami Sun Studiedat 10th Class in India

Yes. Hinduism places restrictions on women.

Lord Rama left his home because of Kaikeyi who was a woman. Also inHinduism
Goddesses are worshipped as the mothers of this universe.

The gods are named with their eternal wives.

Shri LakshmiNarayan Siya Ram Radha Krishna Rukmini Krishna Gauri Shankar/Shiva
Shakti

And it's also true that girls can't pray during their periods as it's asin.
Maybe that's why Draupadi prayed to Lord Krishna during her periods.

Q5         Ghee is regularly used by Indians in earlier who are livingabove 80
and 90 years now doctors says don't use ghee it we'll increasecholesterol? Why
so?

A5          Muralidharan Nair June6, 2020 Aviation · Owns Flight School In

A very good question indeed. let me explain, the milk that you we get inthe
market is mostly A1 milk.

A1 Milk

Milk from foreign breeds (Jersey and Holstein Friesian) contain A1protein.
Around 10,000 years ago, a mutation occurred in this proline aminoacid,
converting it to histidine. The mutated protein, does not have a strongbond to
hold on to BCM7 (poisonous chemical). Hence, on consumption of the A1milk, BCM7
gets into the gastro-intestinal tract of animals and humans.

Risk of Type 1 diabetes, coronary heart diseases, autism etc are drastically
increased.

A2 Milk

Milk from Indian cow breeds contain A2 protein.

Proline amino acid has a strong bond to a small protein called BCM7(poisonous
chemical) and therefore stops the BCM7 from getting into milk. Soessentially,
no BCM7 is found in the urine, blood or gastro-intestinal tractsof A2 cows

Risk of Type 1 diabetes, coronary heart diseases, autism etc are drastically
reduced.

A2 Milk Benefits

Rich in Omega fats and amino acid which is very beneficial for the humanbody.

It helps reduce the effects of lifestyle diseases like cholesterol, diabetes,
heart diseases, child obesity among others.

It helps in reducing serum cholesterol. It is one of the best
naturalanti-oxidants. Trying a completely natural alternative is the way to go

Human Milk is A2 milk. Humans are meant to ingest A2 milk and not the A1variety
which evolved due to modern farming and breeding techniques. Are you
aself-diagnosed lactose intolerant individual? Most people do not realize
thatthey are not capable of digesting A1 beta-casein proteins and that’s the
reasonwhy they assume they are intolerant to lactose. Most cows produce milk
with A1proteins in them and this type of milk is hard to digest and results in
feelingbloated, indigestion and gastric issues.

Now you know why our forefathers lived that long to see 1000 full moons?

Q8         What are some mind-blowing facts about food?

A8          Debolina Santra November5 -2021 Lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Chikki is a very common Indiansweet snack, but the fact is not many are aware
of its amazing history.

In the year 1888, when the railway line was started in India and as
theconstruction work of it geared up, the railway line was constructed uptil
Lonavala station whichhappens to be a very famous spot adored by Mumbaikar’s
during the monsoons.

Due to laborious work put in by the workers, they required somethinghealthy and
tasty to eat so as to sustain them. This is how the idea of chikkiwas invented
by Mr. Maganlal, India’s largest and the oldest chikki maker.

The innovative idea of givingchikki to the workers was that it had three simple
reasons, one it was healthy, two yummy in taste and third affordable
toeveryone. Even after 126 years the technique required to make chikki is
stillvery simple and common. First the peanuts are roasted so that they become
softand be crushed smoothly. Then, jagerry and sugar are added to the
crushedpeanuts and three of them are blended at a right temperature. Once a
finemixture of three of them is composed, then they are cut into pieces and
aresent for packing. The core three ingredients of chikki makes the food item
richin taste and nutrition because there is zero amount of preservatives added,
assugar itself acts as a preservative.

This sweet snack has gotseveral benefits because of which it is especially
recommended to pregnant women, especially those who cannot cope with
therequired daily nutrients.

The century old snack has comeup with so many varieties, due to its high demand
across the nation. Now day’s people not only get to eat chikki made ofdry
fruits, but also flavors like chocolate, strawberry and tangy ginger whichhas
also been incorporated by the chikki makers. Though the flavors and productline
has got better and wider but one thing has always remained the same, thatis the
rich nutrient value provided by chikkis in the most economical
way.Lonavalachikki – Wikipedia
