பொருளுரை: நெற்பயிருக்கு இறைக்கப்பட்ட தண்ணீர் வாய்க்கால் வழியாகச் சென்று
அருகாமையிலுள்ள புற்களுக்கும் கசிந்து பசுமையைத் தரும். அதுபோல, நீடித்த
இவ்வுலகத்தில் நல்லவர் ஒருவர் இருப்பாராயின் அவரது நற்குணத்திற்காகப் பெய்
யும் மழை, உலகத்தில் உள்ளோர் அனைவருக்கும் பெய்து நன்மை பயக்கும்.
english poem: nellukku iratha neer, vaikkaal vazhiyodi, pullukkum aange
posiyumam; tollulagil, nallar oruvar olarael, avar poruttu, ellarkkum
peyyum mazhai (moodurai).
Meaning: When water is poured to Paddy fields, the grass also gets
benefitted; so also, only one goodman does exist, Rain shall come for him,
