"Hello, I am Ramachandran Nair. I was part of the very first batch from
Thrissur (Trichur) Veterinary College and started my career as a veterinary
surgeon in 1959 and retired as Director of Animal Husbandry in 1992. I have
also done my higher studies (masters) in Veterinary Pathology and Medical
Virology.

But this is concerning a totally different topic - that of Kerala's LDF
government looting Hindu holy places. Using the excuse of Budget issues
during Coronavirus-based lockdown, the CPM-led Left Government in Kerala
which manages different temple bodies (Devaswam Boards) are currently
taking stock of inventory of all temple assets. The plan is to evaluate
what can be sold to get funds for the board. This is being done at a time
when people cannot even go out of their homes, let alone protest against
these anti-Hindu actions.

Please remember that very rich temples of Sabarimala and Guruvayoor are
under the Devaswam Boards. Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple, considered to be one
of the richest in the world and now being managed by the Supreme Court had
its police protection/security withdrawn. At a time when people are not
being allowed to go out, the hurry in unlocking temples and taking stock is
only with the malafide intention of indulging in officially sanctioned
theft. The CM's answer is that these would be auctioned off only with the
permission of Kerala High Court, but he is not talking of the antiques and
their values. The concern is that all the expensive items would be stolen
first during the time people are not being allowed to visit the temples.
Only the low-value items would be listed for auction.

We have already seen the Kerala government forcefully taking away Rs 5
crore to the Corona Fund from the fixed deposits of Guruvayoor Temple. I am
sharing this because there is no other hope than the Central Government's
intervention for Hindu believers to protect their temples and the assets
within them. No other religion has been asked to contribute for Corona.
Even in the past, for flood relief, Devaswam Board was asked to contribute
Rs 10 crores.

I am nearing 84 years and all I can do is to bring to the attention of
public this big loot of Kerala's Communist govt to the attention of all the
faithful people among the Hindus. I request everyone to share so that it
reaches the Prime Minister's Office and appropriate action gets taken to
stop this theft. Let us all come together to save our temples from the
non-believers and anti-Hindus.

Yours sincerely,

Ramachandran Nair
