Kural 215 says wealth is like a well water useful to the society and even
among that education is the best wealth than any other as per 400. Artha
shastra says that wealth is held by the king for the sake of people. So
earning wealth by permitted concepts lasts long as long as it serves the
public purpose and is used for the simple life of Janaka style. All the
tableau presented as how to earn is a self-serving marketing strategy.
Karma is ultimate. There are people with a lot of wealth but cannot enjoy;
on the contrary, wealth is bleak but happiness is aplenty. So earning is
karma; the best earns lesser than the worst; the learned pooja performer of
the temple is rich and poor at different temples. Best wealth is health and
living happily irrespective of the bank accounts. There was a day when 4 of
us shared one dosai in Parklands Hotel and that happiness I do not get when
I am eating in chola sheraton today. So earning is ATHIRSHTAM AND people
call it their talent, thoughts and efforts, unaware of the fact that the
same idea did not make the others ten rich. Similarly the other article on
