Swarga naraka
The swargam and Narakam are mere threatening concepts evolved
without in depth foundations as the WAY OF LIFE or SANATHANA DHARMA was
given. Vedas are noticeably clear no other scriptures can over trespass THE
PRINCIPLES OF THE VEDAS. And Nachiketan proves it beyond doubt in the
Upanishad when talking with YAMA. The Vedas knew only one YAMA and YAMI
brother and sister where after the, Yami was living in the concentration of
YAMA. Dharma was interlocked with the YAMA, but Vedas use that only as a
death GOD.
The Rig Vedam does not have anything to connect to Swargam indirectly
even and Narakam and so the Yajur and Sama vedam. Anything not said in
Vedas have no sanctity and if in doubts refer to the elders where the
elders as Vedics, had not said anything in the Upanishads. Seven above and
seven below 14 lokas do not have anything explicitly mentioned as swargam
and Narakam. And the theory of KARMA is perfect and the rebirths induce the
adrishta (unforeseen) happiness and the pains which itself is swarga and
Naraka; also no one can be punished twice one in hell and another under
the rebirth.
The satapataha brahmana and the Atharva vedam followed by the B G
speaks of the path of SOUL LEAVING THE BODY TRAVELLING TO north MOKSHAM (NO
REBIRTH) AND THE SOUTH (KARMA AND REBIRTH) ONLY. Because the body is left
here. Only the soul leaves out which is named as sukshma sareera. It is
invisible and cannot be endured and enforced to pleasure or pains. So
smritis are clear in that about the concept of the soul; and as soul is
nothing but the manifestations of the Paramatma, and there is no thirsty
bodies to be fed etc travelling ,other than our sound waves in the air, and
even in rebirth only the unidentified soul takes on another body solely
grown by the physical biology destroyable on earth as MAYA roopam, and
enters after the growth, , there is nothing except the soul, thoughts thro
mind and karmas all abstracts alone available. They cannot be rewarded or
reinforced or rinsed.
The thoughts of these elements were beyond the scriptures of the
ancient, created to keep in check the society from deviating, under the
threat; we invariably see it in puranas and especially under GARUDA
PURANAM. The Agni Purana mentions 4 hells; some recensions say 7;
Manusmrithi speaks of 21 hells; : Tamisra, Andhatamisra, Maharaurava,
Raurava, Kalasutra, Mahanaraka, Samjivana, Mahavichi, Tapana, Sampratapana,
Samhata, Sakakola, Kudmala, Putimrittika, Lohasanku, Rijisha, Pathana,
Vaitarani, Salmali, Asipatravana and Lohadaraka ; Yagnavalkvya smrithi
mentions 21 but names are varied; Bhagavatham, Vishnu Puranam and Devi
Bhagavatham describes 28 hells; the 3 vedas do not mention about any of
these things; Atharva Vedam speaks of darkness which the learned attributed
it to the BLACK-HOLES.
The Bhagavad-Gita describes two paths along which *souls *travel after
death. One is the path of the sun, also known as the bright path or the
path of gods and the other is the path of the moon, also known as the dark
path and the path of ancestors. When a soul travels along the path of the
sun, it never return again, while those which travel along the path of the
moon return again. (8.24). How is the path of the sun attained? Lord
Krishna provides the clue in the following verses: "Controlling all the
openings of the body, with the mind established in the heart, fixing the
prana in the self at the top of the head establishing oneself in the Yoga,
uttering the monosyllable AUM, which is Brahman, who leaves the body
remembering Me, he achieves the highest goal. (8.12-13)
The Isa Upanishad clearly emphasizes it. Into blinding darkness
enter those who worship ignorance (materialism) and into greater darkness
those who worship knowledge (spirituality) alone. Distinct they say is the
result of knowledge and distinct they also say is the result of ignorance.
This is what we heard from the wise who explained these matters to us. He
who knows both knowledge and ignorance together, crosses death through
ignorance and attains immortality through knowledge. - Isa Upanishad
*His state of mind *at the time of death, that is what thoughts and
what desires were predominant in his consciousness at the time of his
death, decides in which direction the jiva will travel and in what form it
will appear again. (B G ) A rudimentary concept of rebirth can be traced in
some early Upanishads which repeatedly suggest that a father lives through
his son. While the body may perish, the Self does not because the knowledge
and energies of the father are transmitted to the eldest son. In the
ultimate sense, the purpose of after life is neither to punish nor reward
the souls, but to remind them of the true purpose of their existence. In
the final analysis, the difference between heaven and hell is immaterial
because both are part of the great illusion that characterizes the whole
creation. The difference is very much like the difference between a good
dream and a bad dream. It should not matter to soul whether it has gone to
a heaven or to some hell, because the soul is eternally pure and not
subject to pain and suffering.
Even in Satapata brahamana Kanda XIII, adhyaya 8, brahmana 1
*FUNERAL CEREMONIES of burial and building the grave are explained after
the funeral ceremony, starting from *1. They now do what is auspicious for
him. They now prepare a burial-place (śmaśāna
<https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/shmashana#hinduism>) for him, (to
serve him) either as a house or as a monument; for when any one dies, he is
a corpse (śava <https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/shava#hinduism>), and
for that (corpse) food (anna
<https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/anna#hinduism>) is thereby prepared,
hence 'śavanna,' for, indeed, 'śavanna' is what is mystically called
'śmaśāna.' But 'śmaśāḥ' also are called the eaters amongst the Fathers, and
they, indeed, destroy in yonder world the good deeds of him who has had no
sepulchre prepared for him: it is for them that he prepares that food,
whence it is 'śmaśānna,' for 'śmaśānna' is what is mystically called
'śmaśāna.' And ending,” . He then bids them cut out (the earth). He should
cut it out to whatever extent he intends to raise (the sepulchral mound),
but let him rather cut it out so as to be just of man's size: he thus
leaves no room for another. For, on the one hand, the Fathers are the world
of plants, and amongst the roots of plants they (are wont to) hide; and, on
the other, (he does so) lest he (the deceased) should be separated from
this (earth).” Thus, described in 4 chapters. Kanva text has a slight
variation. A few interpret these procedures as world of sepulchere also but
it cannot be said in black and white it records the existences of hell and
heaven, Even Vaishnav ism did not accept the concept as Buddhism too does.
