Dharmam chara - sathyam Vada- Now you are writing but always forgot/forget to
practice . How you write so?
Calling another group member (my self ) as standard one whom you know very
well is a graduate is sathyam vada.? Ridiculing his writing is Dharmam?.
Two days back only our moderator wrote- Once you write there would be
responses WHICH CANNOT BE STOPPED

the erstwhile Yahoo groups. That esteemed group was a moderated group, founded
by Viji123. It had over 1000 members and was a great meeting place for everyone
remotely related to Iyers. But suddenly on or about May 12, 2014, the group
stopped functioning. The presumed cause is the sudden incapacitation of Viji123
or the unanticipated death of Viji123. The cause of the sudden cessation of
messages is not known for a fact (this is pure speculation). Subsequently,
after 6 or so years, Yahoo Groups itself came to an end. Not having the list of
original subscribers to Yahoo's iyer123, this group was founded at about that
time and initial invitations were sent. About 50 members joined and the
subsequent revival of iyer123 is ongoing. You are being requested to add
yourself to this group so that the services of iyer123 can be resumed.
One difference between the Yahoo group and this one on Google groups is that it
is unmoderated. And for the foreseeable future, it will remain unmoderated. If
you would like to become a moderator, please indicate so to the moderator so
that you can be added to the list of moderators. We should avoid the situation
that Yahoo iyer123 found itself in, and become dependent on the mortality (or
presumed immortality) of a single moderator.

Addendum: One more thing regarding the unmoderated nature of this group. It
means each person is solely responsible for their remarks. The owner/moderator
