1 Pension is a gratise if the whole population of the senior citizens were
to be considered. Govt servants are a miniature to the grand population.
Pensioners though claim it as a right, including myself, virtually, we have
not even contributed to this nation, what those kids and young women did to
the society, as read through the media. When as a class one only Rs 650
was the pay per month did you not survive?. Did not your grandfather
survive with a gold coin per month out of the salary of Rs 45 per
month once?. Survival of those 90% who are senior citizens of India
without any pension shall not be weighed?. We spent unnecessarily a lot?
Even nowadays a chaprasi wants to fly. It's not wrong. But when one over
shoots his expenses, all become the need . So claim to have more. The
banker likes giving economic advice to the government , instead of advice
to people to lead a simple life. We changed our lifestyle. We run short of
funds and we expect the govt to grant all, including wives!!. Every problem
we have to devise a solution; and every solution in turn would shoot a
problem. Again it's not philosophy but pragmatic living. In the USA bank
interest is still worse. In the USA $ 100 in bank fetch 3 to 4 $ pa; that
is Rs 300. If it is sent to you, you get roughly 7000 to 7500 and you get
Rs 420 to 450 pa. Are you not better than the USA , in spite of the
inflation?. Even in the hours of darkness , I see the retired buying homes
and registering them, being poor. Had we carried out our tasks to the best
of our abilities, what protected us in 1900 AD will be protected in 2050
also. Positivity must be in this regard ,not in controlling our anger when
someone is being bashed up. It is no doubt an irritating but bitter truth.
2 It is not Puran but puranam as south Indians. Virtually a puranam is a
story told for the folks who may not know the alphabets, to understand the
life principles. All puranas will have the same story as our TV serials,
and the only thing is, God is changed. Then why waste time in finding the
differences?.
3 Had you not put on a face mask, you will get Corona and thereafter will
advise others to wear a face mask.
4 Division of income between H & W is a USA cult of modern couple. Your
Money is your money and my money is my money. Many husbands say ' You
bring arisi and I bring straw and let's share it to prosper. what a way to
go?. Please do not raise a cult of anti-family and also regret later. When
the divisions start, break up is initiated as there is no trust. One remedy
instead is getting divorced.
5 When a son dies what will a mother do? be a laughing buddha?. KR
