Pranam
None is important to me to clarify further but when I read Aqua guard I
thought I would share a subject where the traders cheat the public.
1 The serviceman on the pureit-water filter said that a new brand has come
which can be exchanged; it is actually Rs 22000; exchange price is 5500
(!!??); balance payable is only 16500. Wow, it looks pretty.
2 Refrigerator sales man was willing to exchange for a 470 liter double
door refrigerator LG 72000 for just payment of 63899 .
How attractive they are?If yours is dead, well it's a good offer;
if it's working well and still can go for years, it's too bad where you are
being cheated. In 1 if you refer to the company website it is indeed
22000 but MRP maximum retail price. Not the sale retailer price. After all
the cost of sale may differ by transport and establishment charges plus
profit over and above the cost of purchase from the wholesaler. Already
the trader gets only on cost plus overheads plus margin of profit set by
the whole seller minus discounts for agent or bulk purchase, which is far
below the MRP but higher than the cost of production, which is far below
the MRP. And this factor is common to stationary-store-sellers as well as
online traders like Amazon ,Flipkart etc. Amazon sells it to 17000plus the
1st one; Flipkart gives it to 15900 ; if so the cost of product plus profit
must be lesser than 15900 whose MRP is 22000. May be say 14000 is cost
profit can be from zero to Rs 8000,. He discounts for exchange Rs 5500 as
if great; which means he takes your running conditioned water filter for
free, while treating you as if a top customer. Still he would make 2500
plus good conditioned old one to be sold in the market adding to his profit
whereas you bought a new one giving profit to him ,unaware of your loss
incurred; had you bought it from Flipkart still you would be paying less
and all conditions of guarantee 10 years plus service as usual by the
company will apply. And you can give the old one to someone or even charity
and gain punyam. Same thing with the refrigerators if you analyse; it is
sold for 58000 to 60000 brand new. By exchange you lose Rs 3899 plus your
old one resaleable. MRP shall be scrapped and actual shall be enforced or
the buyer shall fight to purchase. KR IRS 3921
