Autopoiesis means the self audit of a cell before dividing into two. A cell is a mini universe, with as many components or compositions or systems as there are in the Universe. The Chilean Professor Humbarto Maturana and his student Francisco Varela discovered that a cell before dividing has an elaborate self checking or self audit system. According to Raymond Moody, the author of the book, ‘Life after Life’, that in the first moments of death, a person meets an apparition of light, the most pleasant phenomenon that questions, as to what that person has done in life, and that within very brief minutes, the entire life of the person appears before him, creating happiness where he did deeds of love and bitter regret for bad deeds. Is it the autopoiesis built within us before we enter the next birth or the next arena after death? Are we also dividing into two, two into four, four into eight... just like the cells within us? Is sex another aspect of autopoesis? All cells are not uniform, there are many varieties. But all of them have the system of autopoiesis or self audit, before dividing. Everything in the Universe according to Koestler is only a composition or Holon, and that the Holons become parts of bigger Holons, creating Holarchies. Within an atom there are quarks, bound together by gluon, the strongest force in the universe that keeps the atom as the atom. When everything is only a composition, then everything essentially is abstract only, the 3D being an illusion. Each composition, self checks before dissolving and becoming part of new systems or just duplicating as two same systems, I do not know, but essentially it is only the abstract phenomenon, dividing after self checking. At the most fundamental level, an atom is only a composition, and there is just no solid piece of matter. I think I am entering into very wild speculations, irresponsible speculations.
