-- *Mar*Other Things being Equal!!!!!!!
Economics is deception, struggling to be a serious subject, to be flattered as a science, as the word science, puts it in the High Brow bracket. The great Mantra of economics is, increase incomes but reduce costs or expenses. As your expenditure is my income, the contradiction is obfuscated away, by asserting that the increase in incomes and reduction in costs can be achieved by reducing the average cost of production as a whole or by increasing production. It means that nature must be exploited or destroyed continuously. And today we have the economic life which simply is the destruction of nature, regularly. The obfuscation is carried out by making the subject ape Newtonian Mechanics. The deception is achieved by swamping everything with mathematics, artificially transplanted, where in fact mathematics fails as economic relations essentially are human relations or emotional relations, where mathematics or quantification fails. Economic relations shall be emotional or ecological relations and can never be mechanical engineering. Today, we are made to believe that only technology and engineering can create employment and livelihood and nature simply cannot give livelihood. Technology always wounds, harms and destroys nature, and today the destruction has become the huge slide down into the abyss. The problems created by technology can never be cured by technology. Nature has a wonderful mechanism of cures, but there shall be no technological intervention. What is needed is to train one and all, to emotionally interact with nature, by means of symbiotic breathing, smelling, sensing and perceiving. If every child is trained to smell and notice, instead of being drilled with technology oriented education, gradually the emotional bond and emotional interaction with nature, will gather momentum and we discover that nature has a built in mechanism of creating livelihood. There is need to at least try the alternative ecology based economics, experimentally. As it is, the gigantic industrial wastes, most of them very toxic, are growing geometrically and the majority of the people and the entire biosphere as a whole are the victims. Poverty of the poor today means suffering the poisoning of nature. YM -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thatha_Patty" group.
