*Suppose we shift accountancy from the present trader-centric accounting to nature-centric accounting. These are the days of technological advancements where the MRI machines are photographing thoughts themselves. It will not be very long, when not only thoughts but perceptions themselves will be captured by computers. Perceptions are always governed by nature and breathing plays a key role.* *It will not very difficult, to include, the effects on the Environment,Ecology,Society and on the whole economy, the activities of an undertaking, brings about.* *Under the present system of the Double Entry Book-Keeping, a transaction when it happens will be entered in the Journals or the Subsidiary Books—The Journal Proper, The Purchases Book, The Sales Book, The Purchases Returns Book, The Sales Returns Book, The Bills Receivable Book, and The Bills Payable Book. From there they will be posted into the ledgers. At the end of the financial year, the list of ledger balances called the rial Balance will be arrived at, and from there the profit made or loss sustained by the Trader will be arrived at. The Trader then gets the Balance Sheet statement.* *From this Trader-centric accounting, the shift towards Nature-centric Accounting can be introduced by posting as Journal Entries in the Journal Proper, the effects on the environment, ecology and the society. There will be ledger accounts for them in the Ledger and their balances can be seen in the Trial Balance.* *Then the final profit and Loss Account, will give a better picture of the effects of the undertaking.* *The present commercial paradigm that governs accounting shall be put to an end.
