A14 YesThe most effective way is to chant manthra at once after waking up,
before your feet touch the ground. This because the sinful karma represented
bySaturn is in the feet, and when we touch the ground with our feet, we make an
offence againstBhumi Devi, the Goddess of the Earth. Therefore we should chant
somemantras for purification of our sins, before we touch the ground with our
feet.

They were made to plunge in it.There they saw the region of Vaikuntha, the
supreme abode of Krishna, far awayfrom the limits of Prakriti. Nanda and others
were immensely delighted, whenthey had a vision of that region. There they saw
Krishna. They were most happy to see Krishna amidst thechanters of Vedic hymns.
They were all struck with wonder.

Q19 From whom Sri Krishna received his instructions? Whowas his close friend at

Sudama was Sri Krishna’s classmate. Sudama was later on known bythe name of
Kuchela.

A20 When his school career was over,at the request of his teacher, he rescued

carried away. Krishna slew Panchajanyaand took away his conch ‘Panchajanya’,
rescued the boy from Yama, andhanded him over to his teacher.

Q21 What was the reason behind Rasaleela?

A21 Krishna once promised the Gopis that they shall enjoyHis company in the
coming nights.

The flute and its music had stirredthe souls of the Gopis. They felt
irresistably drawn towards Sri Krishna. Theyhad neither shame nor fear in
leaving their homes. There was a soul-awakeningin them. Their mind was not of
this world. Their husbands and brothers stoppedthem in vain.

The Gopis were the sages of Dandaka forest in theirprevious births. They wished
to embrace Lord Rama. They were promisedsatisfaction in the later Avatara. They
got blended into the Paramatman in theKrishna Avatara.

It is only Narada, Suka Deva, Chaitanya, Mira, Ramanandaor the Gopis that could
understand the secret of Rasa Lila.

Some had been suckling their babes, some had been serving their husbands, some
had been taking their meals, somehad been cleansing their bodies, some had been
painting their eyes withcollyrium.

Butthey all left their work half-finished. Theyhurriedly went to Krishna with
their garments and ornaments all in disorder in consequenceof their great hurry
.

They were prohibited and obstructed by their husbands, parents, brothers and
other relatives. But they were going as if in a trance.Their hearts had been
completely charmed by Govinda. They did not turn back totheir home.

When the Gopis drew near, Krishnasaid," What good can I do for you? Is Vraja
enjoying security and safety?Tell me the object of your coming here. The night
is fearful. Fierce animalsare roaming about. Go back to Vraja. This is not a
place for women. Your fathers, mothers, brothers, sons and husbands must be
searching for you. Do not causeanxiety to them. You have seen the beauty of the
forest. Return to Vraja. Serveyour husbands, calves and children who are
crying. Suckle them and milk thecows. If you have come here on account of the
force of your love for Me, it isonly natural; because all people love Me.

The Gopis said, "O AlmightyLord! It is not fit for Thee to utter these unkind
words. We have abandonedeverything and sought Thy feet alone. Do not abandon
us." The gopis requested to acceptthem as servants, just as Lord Narayana
accepts His devotees Our feet cannotmove even a single step away from you. How
then can we go back toVraja? And what shall we do there? "

O Lord, the most beloved of thosewho live in the forest! In the forest we did
once touch Thy lotus feet thatafford delight to Lakshmi. Thus blessed by Thee,
from that time forward, we are unable to standbefore any other even for a
moment. How can we serve our husbands and children?

Q22 What was the reason for Krishna’s disappearence duringrasa leela?

A22 When Sri Krishna, the mostgenerous and the Almighty Lord thus honoured the
Gopis by sporting with them, they were elated with pride. They thought that they
were superior to all women in theworld.

Perceiving their arrogance produced by their good fortuneand also their great
pride, Keshava (Krishna) suddenlydisappeared from the spot to curb their pride
and to bless them as well.

Again hereappeared after they realized their folly. At the time of Rasa Lila,
Hemultiplied Himself into so many Krishnas. The Gopis were struck with wonder
andamazement. Every Gopi felt that her dearest Lord stood by her side.

sugandhim pusthi vardhanam.

Urvarukamiva bhandhanat

mrutyhor mukshiya maamritat"

Meaning:I worship the three eyed lord Shiva, who is full of fragrance and who
nourisheseverybody with health and vitality. May he liberate me from Death and

A25 Themantra should be chanted while facing the east or the north direction.

youcomplete chanting the mantra i.e,repeating the mantra for 108 times then
drinkthe water.

This practice can be started on a Monday. Also sprinkle some wateraround the

A26 Involution is the process of identifying and separating, whileevolution is
the return journey of unification and spiritualization.

On many levels, something first involves and becomes more dense
andindividualised, then turns and becomes more spiritual after its experience.
Ona simple level, the concept of us going on a trip and then returning
homeafterward is like this.

Our entire lives going from our souls, incarnating in a body, and then
returning after “death” is like this. This iseven related to the whole concept
of “God” creating and experiencing theuniverse itself.

A27 The 14th chapter of theBhagavad-Gita is the mostimportant chapter of all.

the stringent laws of material nature.

A28 No one is able todestroy the imperishable soul. Onlythe material body of
the indestructible, immeasurable and eternal living entityis subject to

undyingand primeval. The soul does not die when the body is slain.

Q29 What is kalpa andiron yuga details?

A29 the duration of the material universe is limited. The universe ismanifested

The ages are Satya Yuga "the golden years, then comes Treta Yuga" the silver
years", next comes Dvapara Yuga " the copperyears" and last Kali Yuga " the
iron years

At the end of this presentage of iron the universal process is set rolling
again. These four ages, rotating a thousand times, comprise of just one day of
Lord Brahma. Lord Brahmalives for 100 celestial years

Q30 How many years havepassed after the start of kaliyuga? When did it actually
started?

A30 It is stated in the Vedas that the present world age, Kali yugastarted at
the time of the vernal equinox  on February 18 inyear 3102 B.C., when all the
planets conjoined around the star ZetaPiscium, which also indicates the staring
point of the sidereal Zodiac (i.e. 0degree of Aries)

According to Vedic calculations humankind has presently passed through5000
years of Kali Yuga. Kali Yuga lasts 432,000 years so we have 427,000 yearsof
