Most respected Mr Rajaram Krishnamurthy former IRS,
Now you have stated  that any person  can be called Kenappayya and it is a
decent usage among Brahmin's talk. Do not change your response later, telling
you meant some thing different by using - Kenappayya.
Now on-wards if I use Kenappayya about you, do not try to find fault with me.

Thank you  very much Kenappayya for your response intimating what you meant by
the usage . I thought the word was something ridiculing me. Very Sorry for
thinking the meaning of the word was some thing else.

Thank you very much for the clarification.

Q1            Is an automatic top load washingmachine efficient in cleaning
than the top load semi-automatic ones?

A1            Gopala Krishnan, former Assistant General Manager 1996-2004 at
Department of Telecom(1966-2004)Answered just now

Nowadays people, especially elders prefer automatic machines. In
semi-automaticmachines, you have to wash, drain, remove detergent remains in
cloth by rinsingadjusting level of water inflow,  and dryby spinning and
squeezing in separate unit. I have semi- automatic machine inaddition to front
load. If we wash items like bed sheet transfer to dryingportion is difficult
for elders above say 75 in the semi-automatic machine. Topload machine do all
the jobs automatically. Regarding efficiency it depends onsoiling of clothes.
Tosum up for elders top load automatic washing machine is most suited.

Q2            How do I contact the TTE in therunning train?

A2            Prashant Tiwari  20h

TTEs are one of the most important officials available in a runningtrain.
Sometimes you might have to contact TTE as quick as possible.

Here I am sharing few possible ways through which you can contact TTE-

If there are two or more people travelling in a group then one person cango
towards loco side whereas other can go towards train manager/guard side. This
way any one of them will find TTE quickly.

If you are travelling alone or only two people in which one has to be onberth
to save luggage then move towards ac coaches first and keep on asking
allvendors whether they have seen TTE in nearby coaches or not. This way you
canfind TTE quickly.

If you cannot leave your berth then simply tweet/file a complaint throughrail
madad and inform them about your problem. TTE himself/herself will come toyour
berth. This all will take hardly 30 mins. Do not forget to mention PNR no.in
your tweet.

TTEs have a fixed berth as well so if they are not checking tickets then youcan
find them on their fixed berths in alternate coaches.

In 2AC - Seat No. 5 In 3AC-Seat no. 7 In SL- Seat no. 7RPF -Seat no. 63

Let me know if you think there is/are more ways through which one cancontact
TTE in a running train in the comment section.

My note- In important trainsthere is caption present days. He intimate his name
through mobile. One can take the assistance   of caption who will do the
needful. In othertrains any TTE will help on important issues. Generally it is
observed in day trains  after their work most TTE together in a coachunless
they belong to different unions.

Q3            What happens when you drink waterafter eating a banana?

A3            Lucia Garcia Worked atHospitalsWed

You can drink water aftereating bananas, there is no relationship between water
and bananas.

I have also eaten bananas and then drank water without experiencing anyissue.

Bananas contain a lot of water-soluble dietary fiber. Water-solubledietary
fiber swells with water, which can promote gastrointestinal motility, reduce the
residence time of food in the intestine, and speed up metabolism.

Bananas are very nutritious and contain protein, fat, carbohydrates, various
vitamins, dietary fiber, folic acid, and minerals such as potassium, magnesium,
calcium, phosphorus, and iron.

Bananas are easy to digest and absorb. Generally, after eating bananas, all its
nutrients will be digested and absorbed by the body within 1 hour.

Bananas are an excellent source of potassium. A medium-sized bananacontains 420
mg of potassium.

Eating 1 to 2 bananas a day andsupplementing with some potassium can lower
blood pressure, protect the lining of arteries, enhance heartfunction, and
support heart health.

My note- Diabetics may avoideating bananasREGULARLY.

Q4            Which south Indian language doBrahmin Indians generally favour
the most?

A4            GopalkrishnaVishwanath True Indian, who feels at home anywhere in
India. Fri

Brahmin Indians favour their respective mother tongues the most. In thenorth,
it is mostly Hindi or Bengali or the dialect of Hindi that they speak. In the
South the Brahmins speak and favour either Tamil, or Malayalam, Telugu,Kannada,
Tulu, or Sankethi in their day-to-day communication with theirfamilies and
friends belonging to the community.

They all use Sanskrit for theirreligious rituals and prayers. Most Brahmins can
chant in Sanskrit either on their own or with the helpof the priest. Hardly any
Brahmin converses in Sanskrit with others though hemay know Sanskrit and can
read and write in Sanskrit. In addition, they converse inEnglish or the
language of the region where they are settled.

My note- Mostly local languagemixed with English or English mixed with local
language is used by Brahmins in Tamilnadu and Kerala. One of our members   has
used abusing Tamil word Kenappayya  along with English while writing
responseabout my posting, not getting any suitable English word. He is Mr
Rajaram Krishnamurthy, former IRS. I gave upresponding to him. He never regret

Q5            How do blue whales only eat krill?

A5            Adam Wu Lives inSaskatoon, SK Mon

They don’t. When they huntkrill they are going to end up eating everything and
anything in that size range that happens to be nearby, as their filterfeeding
method cannot distinguish between those different types of prey.Everything from
small fish to zooplankton and phytoplankton that happens to bein the water the
gulp in along with the krill.

They have specialized in eatingkrill because krill is hugely abundant and
calorie rich, and can be capturedwith their filter feeding adaptions in a very
energy efficient way.

It is the exploitation of krill as a food source that allows Blue Whalesto grow
as big as they do. No otherprimary food source in the modern oceans is
sufficiently abundant and providesa big enough net caloric input to support
such large bodies. Whales like the Blue were onlyable to evolve their huge
sizes after krill appeared and attainedtheir modern levels of abundance.

Q6            Can you eat lemon peel?

A6            Lucia Garcia  Worked at Hospitals10h

People love to drink lemon juice, and many people throw away the lemonpeel
after juicing, which is kind of a shame. The nutrition of lemon peel is much
higher than that oflemon juice. Lemon peel is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C,
D-limonene,beta-carotene, citric acid, malic acid, hesperidin, and minerals
such ascalcium, magnesium, and potassium.

D-Limonene is a compound that gives lemons its characteristic aroma, mainly
found in the peel of lemons, which is a natural flavonoid antioxidant.

D-Limonene has powerfulantioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, it can
effectively scavenge freeradicals, decrease oxidative damage and inflammation,
enhance immunity and resistance, and avoid therisk of various diseases.

In addition, lemon peel is alsorich in vitamin C, which can promote the
formation of antibodies, improve the vitality of white blood cells,
andstrengthen the immune system.

Lemon peel tastes a littlebitter. You can drink lemon peel tea. Pay attention
to keeping the water temperature at 50 to 60 degrees, soas not to destroy the
nutrients of the lemon peel.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, drink a little lemon peel tea regularly
tostrengthen the body's immune system.

My note- In South India lemonpickles are prepared only using lemon skin not
removed

Not exactly.

But Norway and Sweden have large forests and wood is cheap andabundant.Poor
people built in wood but a stone house carried status andprestige.

Few of the wooden citiesremain since they had a tendency to burn. But stone
remains

In the farming countries in southern Sweden and in Denmark everybodybuilt in
brick because both wood and stone were scarce.

Q11         What is the name of the material usedto tar roads?

A11          Ciro Pabon Specialistin Highway Engineering & Soil Mechanics,
Universidad Del Cauca (Graduated1986)Updated Mar 3

It is called “asphalt concrete”or “bitumen concrete”.It isa mixture of asphalt
and gravel of different sizes.Asphalt is called bitumen inthe UK and among road
professionals.

Tar is a different material.Tar comes from burning wood or coal.Tar is not used
in roads, althoughthe name is used informally as when you ask how to “tar”
roads.

Asphalt. This material is whatis left at the bottom of adistillation tower when
oil is converted into gasoline and kerosene. Asphalt ispretty solid.Asphalt
concrete.

Believe it or not, thismaterial is made of only 5%asphalt shown in the
construction added to 95% sand and gravel

Tar: this material is whatoozes from wood or coal whenyou burn it slowly

My note- Very informativeanswer about bitumen. I wasusing bitumen compound
around cable joints in telecom department, it was knownto me that it was a by-
product of crude oil. Now I am more clear.
