Maintainingyour car's exterior is crucial in its preservation. While most cars willeventually lose value, you can prolong the life of your car and preserve itsvalue. Your car's paint is naturally harmed by dirt, grime, salt, and othercontaminants. 2. Q3 Do you believe that there were ancientcivilizations on Earth that were more advanced than our present daytechnological achievements? What are your theories? A3 Mats Andersson Common or GardenArmchair Historian20h No. And the reasons are: oil wells and coal mines. Any ancientcivilisation—Atlantis, Mu, Neanderthal, or Dinosaur—would have spread far andwide, by the simple expedient of their neighbours looking at them and saying“Hey, look what they’re doing, I want some of that”. And that civilisationwould have used up all easily available energy, because you need energy to runa civilisation. Lots of energy. When the Industrial Revolution rolled around, there was alot of easily extracted energy around. Oil wells and coal seams. No one had been using it up. Now, we still find energy that’s a tad moredifficult to dig up, like uranium and stuff, but it’s obviously not been usedup by anyone. Hence, no advanced civilisation was around before ours. It’s not outrightimpossible that there was a civilisation rivalling the Greek, Maya or earlyChinese somewhere, a few thousand years before the generally accepted date. Itcould be hidden in a jungle or under a desert somewhere. The earliestcivilisations didn’t spread as far, and they didn’t extract resources to anextent that might be obvious to us today. But that would onlymean advanced for its time, not as advanced as we are (technologically, thatis). Q4 Can palm oil contribute to diabetes? A4 Lucia Garcia Worked at Hospitals Mon Palm oil is ahealthy edible oil which we use commonly in our cooking. Palm oil is one of themost consumed vegetable oils. Palm oil, soybean oil and rapeseed oil are knownas "the world's three major vegetable oils". Palm oil is easy todigest and absorb. The digestibility and absorption rate of palm oil by thebody is over 98%. Palm oil has nothing to do with diabetes, and diabetics canconsume palm oil. Palm oil contains50% saturated fatty acids, 40% monounsaturated fatty acids, and 10%polyunsaturated fatty acids. Excessive intake ofsaturated fatty acids is considered to be the cause of many diseases, however, there is no directrelationship between saturated fatty acids and diabetes. Fat does not raiseblood sugar, it provides energy to the body. The metabolism of fat does notinvolve insulin, which reduces the burden on the pancreas responsible forinsulin secretion. Some medical experts believe that increasing the intakeof fat, especially natural saturated fat, can change the body from relying onsugar metabolism to fat metabolism, which is an important way to reversediabetes. Palm oil alsocontains nearly 50% unsaturated fatty acids. Unsaturated fatty acids canregulate blood lipids, reduce blood viscosity, reduce cholesterol, and are verybeneficial to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health. Q5 How much does it cost to paint 630square feet in Chennai? A5 Senthil T, lives in Chennai, TamilNadu, India (2015-present) Updated Dec 28, 2018 Now I am paintingsimilar square feet in Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu. I like to give you thecomplete expense to paint the area. Paint Type : The paint you arechoosing for interior and exterior is the key. Actually I gone through allsites and finally choose Asian Paints. For interior: AsianRoyale Shyne For exterior: AsianApex Ultima If you want, youcan go for low budget paints. But royale shyne and ultima is the best one in termsof cost, smoothness, washable, resistance and anti-algal protection. Procedure: 1.First remove thewall dust, moisture and clean the wall completely. 2. Fill the cracksin wall using Asian crack filler. 3. Apply puttytwice for smooth finishing. (Few go for one time, but it is not a goodapproach). Before applying the putty, each time clean the surface using siliconcarbide waterproof paper. 4. Before paintingthe wall, apply primer once. 5. Last step, applythe paint. This procedure isapplicable for both interior and exterior. Materials Needed: You have mentioned630 sqt. I am assuming it as 2 rooms, 1 Hall and 1 kitchen. To finish a singleroom, 4 litre. To finish a hall, 6litre. To finish a kitchen, 4 litre. Putty 40 kg pack -12 max( Because it depends on the house. If your house walls dont have cracks, ups and down then you can finish 9 it in pack). If you are not applying puttyoutside, then you can finish it in 7 max. Interior primer 20litre and exterior 20 litre. Emulsion white - 10litre for top sealing in all places. Exterior ultima 25litre Aprx. (It depens on how you are applying the paint). Paint Rollers,Brushes and silicon papers. Average cost of thepaint: For shyne and ultima (per litre) - 450to 650 INR. If you are going for dark colour the price is high and itcosts around 750 INR. Light colour costs less, always. Putty 40 kg pack -950 to 1000 INR. Labour charges: It depends on thearea. In my area they asked 600 INR.( In Chennai it is Rs 1000-00) Most of the worksin my house is completed. So far I have spent around 65,000 INR (for all paint, materials and labourcharges); only four days of work is pending. 5 man power, So totally80,000 INR. Again it depends onthe paint you are choosing. Royale shyne and ultima is the best and it is also reasonable, with 7years of warranty. Follow the imagesbelow. I applied ‘L’ shape everywhere. But for bedrooms, apply one colour inone side and apply other colour for rest of the three side. Top Seeling withwhite colour. My suggestions: For hall andexterior, choose pleasant light colour. For bedrooms, choose one side dark and another side light. Don't apply two much water in the paint. For betterfinishing, apply two times putty as well as paint. Always spend moretime to remove the moisture, apply putty and crack fillers correctly. You need not tospend too much time on applying paints, because shyne and ultima will take lesstime. 2nd answer- How much does it cost to paint 630square feet in Chennai? Gopala Krishnan, lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu,India (2005-present)Answered just now I am from Chennai,India. Three days back I completed 75% painting of my home. Outside fully andinside bedrooms and kitchen, portico and my room. Hall, dining and bathrooms to be completed in another session. The painter workedout for 1900 square feethome for calculating the outer area with Asian paints ultima protax- Rs 1Lakh and labour 75000–00.He had given choice that materials he will collect and I can pay bill to theshop by cheque. When bill came it was 1Lakh 11thousand rupees. He came forwardhe might pay 11T since he quoted one Lakh only. The full bill materials were used for my home and so I issueda cheque for full amount. Thepainters worked from 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM in their own accord. So I paid labour too as quoted. Roof top tiles werepainted grey, outer tile works in front side of home and front compound wallwere polished. Total terrace was brought to original bricks colour by cleaning.Total compound was cleanedafter painting by them. There is adifference between ultima and ultima protax -Rs 30000–00 in the quantity required. The colour I choseparrot green had a price difference of about 20000–00 from other exteriorcolours. So about 50000-00 can be saved using low cost colourand apex ultima. Protax is warrantyis for 10 years and ultima for 7 years. My earlier painting was ultima only. Some parrot green paint and base paint wassurplus. After adding base white, diluted surplus parrot green paint of outdoorwas used for painting inside . Incidentally navyblue compound wall paint cost only 3500-00 instead of 8000-00 for 20 litres.(approximate rates) Depending on paintcompany, colour, colour change, number of coatings, there is variation. Myouter colour was earlier pink, so primer and two coatings were required. Innutshell instead of 1Lakh 85000–00, the area can be painted even with in 85000–00 oreven less.using lesser quality paint, colour not costing high. Labour and painting accessorieswill remain the same. Company rate may be slightly higher but they will be strict on specification agreed. Q6 Why has having a car become a necessityin the US if they have a great public transportation system? A6 Steven Haddock Lives in Toronto, ON(1959–present)Mar 23 Maybe English isn’tyour first language, but the tense you’re looking for is “had” a great publictransportation system. You are correct that up until 1940 getting just aboutanywhere in the United States by train, bus and cab was almost certainly thebest way to go. In “Of Mice andMen”, the characters travel to a farm they plan to work at by bus along ahighway. In “It Happened OneNight”, Gable and Lombard travel from Florida to New York by bus And getting aroundby train was a piece of cake with frequent service including overnight, witheither sleeper service or just sitting up all night in the bar car. But in the 1950s pretty much all of that was dismantledas “old fashioned”. Most cities toreout their street car systems (notable exceptions, Pittsburgh, Newark and SanFrancisco) Street cars fromLos Angeles’s massive “Red Line” system, being prepared for scrap. By the 1970s, passenger rail service was pretty muchnon-existent and the government had to take over whatlittle was left. Since then, the number of passenger routes has continued todecline. By the 2010s, there wasn’t sufficientdemand for bus service to most communities. Atleast in the United States. Germany is criss-crossed by frequent and reliablerail, subway, tram and bus service. Notice that even inheavily populated areas, rail service isn’t very comprehensive. Germany is roughly the same size asCalifornia and has about twice as many people, but Germany has thousands ofmiles of rail compared to hundreds for California. And it wasn’t always likethat. This is Buffalo’sCentral Rail Terminal. It was a key transportation terminal linking New York,Toronto and Chicago in the 1930s and 1940s before its long slow decline whichled to its closure in 1979. This, on the otherhand, is a brand new underground intercity rail station in Stuttgart. Despitegoing about 1 billion euros over budget, no one is really complaining much. As a result, prettymuch the any way to get anywhere in the United States, even if you fly, is“personal car”. For example, if you’re flying into Dallas/Fort Worth you hadbetter line up a rental because cabs generally have to be booked days inadvance. In many U.S.cities, you shouldn’t even think of taking public transportation from theairport because it ranges from “terrible” to “non-existent”. Q7 How many lung lobes do people have? A7 Ken Saladin Former professor ofhistology (microscopic anatomy)16h As others havesaid, three in the rightlung and two in the left. To add to that, one reason for the asymmetryis that the heart tilts to the left and takes up some space on that side. All the above QA are from Quora website on 31-03- 2022.
