Relationships nowadays have become erratically meant by the youngsters.
Relationship and love are general terms only suited to the minimum one to
one where caring for the other does exist. It is an ongoing process; not
broken overnight or by living together experimentally or existing for
survival. It is a cup full, overflowing with joy. Therefore, it can hurt.
And in the long run it may disappear. It is also virtual without any
permanency. All emotions end oneday and provide an illusory image finally,
waning into thin air. Relationships had been analysed deep in all
Upanishads stating that even the needle withouthat hole (broken) will not
follow till end (Kadatra oosiyum vaaraadhu kan). Robotic relationships are
not new and have existed since Devasura wars described in Puranas. A
criminal respecting the criminal or the threatened respecting the criminal
as if good is a robotic relationship-out of fear or favour.
Contractual relationships are seen in our epics and Puranas and considered
as one of the 8 marriage forms. Today many youths had taken to that road
for money and pleasure, as usual practicing the scriptural FORBIDDEN ACTS
leaving aside the good ones. Emotional relationships are feminine in
nature, an act of motherly which is never ever productive for them, as such
persons are used as a ladder. There is a manly relationship, bleeding
inside and working for the welfare of others, and walking away once the act
is over. Such a relationship is compared to a coconut tree; the tree takes
the water through the roots and gives back as a sweet water in return to
the society; so too unexpected love is shared silently as if without
emotions in raising the standards of the family as a fraternal
relationship. Ouvayar wrote as "

the taste of food is gone; with the father education is dead; with the
daughter gone out the wealth of the home is gone; the respect goes out with
the relationship gone; with the siblings gone the strength is gone; With
the wife gone ALL ARE GONE. KR IRS 22422
