Pranam
Its OK in reading some titbits and some quotes from the nets. However From
2 sources I checked and I knew I do not find even Maha Periava would have
said to any North Indian Thaty way. After the time of Maha Periava many
wrote in Nets , tit bits of HE said like that and this which is intended
only for the people to respect Maha periyava; but unlimited lies would do
only harm to the Mutt. I do not trust FB in general. Ofcourse people here
in this iyer group stay aloof or hold misplaced respects and ignore the
truth . I concur here with sri Sekar. Even otherwise let us not spread
unauthenticate materials. There was once I read that a German researcher
was told to carbon date the Kaladi river sands to fix the birth date of Adi
shankara which is totally untrue as then I was researching on Adi shankara
and when I contacted the Mutt , it was proved to be farce. Now I do not
have anything in Deivathin kural other than these data; I do not know
whether the word VATA was mistaken as VADA where what is meant by Acharya
there was "VAADHA" ARGUMENT. Vada malai etc are within 100 years started
by some one and adopted by the puja minded people. The Valmiki Ramayanam
4th sarg akishkinda kandam clearly says the sun incident and sun was also
his guru as Yajnavalkya was. Actually Jambavan says he was hit by Indra
vajrayudham and fell down. Incidentally Rig vedam speaks about something
akin to it which some scholars attributed it to Hanuman. I will write this
later as I am collecting more data from various books. Attached VR and DK
extracts in english as told by Maha Periava. KR IRS 5722
