The job of a banker whether cash counter or desk work or manager ,is to lead kindly light the customer , without arguing and wasting time in receiving the money?; he could have drawn the form asking him to sign,(which every banker of all branches in the nation does, whenever they take our deposits?!! blank signature and telling they will fill it up ; but when you receive back the old form {again now every bank needs fresh agreement for lockers; so they give back the old ones; you can check unless fully filled by u, all the documents will be in the same pattern when they had your signatures ONLY; so a banker whether going to retire shortly or not, SHOULD HAVE FILLED THE FORM OR JUST ASKED THE OLDMAN'S SIGNATURE , TAKEN THE MONEY AND CALLED THE NEXT PERSON; WHEN IN 1963 WHEN iNDIAN BANK WAS PAYING rS 125 SALARY ALL WORKED HONESTLY; BUT NOW CLEARING IN LAKHS THEY ARE ADAMANT IN NOT DOING THEIR JOBS; IF IT IS EQUALLY WITH RESPECT TO ALL DEPTS, WELL i AM HAPPY ABOUT IT; BUT AS HORSE OPENS THE MOUTH FOR FEED BUT CLOSES FOR RIDES, so too had assumed that they are doing charities and treat the customers as day-beggars speaking rules, UNLESS WE ARE FRIENDLY TO THEM. On 27th I went to a top number 1 bank in India whose people I knew closely; but on that day the manager was new and many clerks came new on transfer, including the 2 girls in the forex. I had 1200 $ and since rate is good wished to deposit; ( bank had the forex division also) A young girl may be <30 said wait I have to check it up; then she asked since when you have this (1200$?) ; I said 3 years; then she said I have to check it up; she went over to Manager and returned back and said as the manager is busy I have to wait; I asked what is your problem?; she looked as if I am a paraya; I went ,literally gate crashed into Manager; he said as the police constable in the corner street does; sir I am new this branch; I am checking; I asked what are you checking?; sir it is 3 year old and there are rules of limitations; then I said literally to THE Manager-IF YOU DO NOT READ WELL BUT GET PROMOTED TO HOLD AN OFFICE WELL BETTER GET VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT AND GO HOME; he was shocked; sir that is not the way to speak; I said is the way of referring to books for $1000 or every aspect of banking, keeping down the customer as long as possible at the bank, conversing in your cellphone is farer?; then I said who am I and added every man can have 2500 $ at home according to RBI and Intelligence wing will not seize $ 5000 and I was holding the Banking in MoF ; and if you are a barber you must be the best; not groping in darkness and asking others to wait for your mercy; by the time he went through the circular and said YES SIR WHAT YOU SAID IS TRUE; Iasked him can I now withdraw my 25 L deposits?. He ran helter skelter including that young girl clerk, and in 10 minutes my account there itself was credited without even being asked and without forms filled; another asst manager who knew me and transferred said my account details; then I saw SMS in my cell the cr amount; then he brought the form to be signed in; is that OK? Paradigm is a mirage; there are good and bad; and it is not the old man's mistake or anger; it is the failure of the chameleon staff. Paradigm in good faith is thinking in the right way.
