HEART ATTACK, Pineal glands intution, FOOT BOTTOM

1 Heart attack : I ALWAYS SAY FEAR KILLS PEOPLE; knowledge of anything is
good; but half-baked knowledge on hearsay and unconfirmed articles are, is
only panicky without any solution. So do not read anything which does not
describe it in entirety.

   - Chest pain, pressure or tightness, or a squeezing or aching
sensation in the center of the chest
   - Pain or discomfort that spreads to the shoulder, arm, back, neck, jaw,
   teeth or occasionally upper abdomen
   - Nausea, indigestion, heartburn or abdominal pain
   - Shortness of breath
   - Lightheadedness, dizziness, fainting
   - Sweating

A heart attack generally causes chest pain for more than 15 minutes. Some
people have mild chest pain, while others have more-severe pain. The
discomfort is commonly described as a pressure or chest heaviness, although
some people have no chest pain or pressure at all. Women tend to have
more-vague symptoms, such as nausea or back or jaw pain.

Some heart attacks strike suddenly, but many people have warning signs
hours or days in advance.

   - Don't ignore the symptoms of a heart attack. If you can't get an
ambulance or emergency vehicle to come to you, have a neighbor or a friend
drive you to the nearest hospital. Drive yourself only if you have no other
option. Because your condition can worsen, driving yourself puts you and
   others at risk.
   - *Chew and swallow an aspirin* while waiting for emergency help.
Aspirin helps keep your blood from clotting. When taken during a heart
attack, it could reduce heart damage. Don't take aspirin if you are
allergic to it or have been told by your health care provider never to take
   aspirin.
   - *Take nitroglycerin,* if prescribed. If you think you're having a
heart attack and your health care provider has previously prescribed
nitroglycerin for you, take it as directed while waiting for emergency
   medical help.
   - *Begin CPR if the person is unconscious.* If the person isn't
breathing or you don't find a pulse, begin CPR to keep blood flowing after
you call for emergency medical help.

Push hard and fast on the center of the person's chest in a fairly rapid
rhythm — about 100 to 120 compressions a minute.

    Rest in GOD.

WOMEN: The most common heart attack symptom in women is the same as in men
— some type of chest pain, pressure or discomfort that lasts more than a
few minutes or comes and goes.

But chest pain is not always severe or even the most noticeable symptom,
particularly in women. Women often describe heart attack pain as pressure
or tightness. And it's possible to have a heart attack without chest pain.

Women are more likely than men to have heart attack symptoms unrelated to
chest pain, such as:

   - Neck, jaw, shoulder, upper back or upper belly (abdomen) discomfort
   - Shortness of breath
   - Pain in one or both arms
   - Nausea or vomiting
   - Sweating
   - Lightheadedness or dizziness
   - Unusual fatigue
   - Heartburn (indigestion)

These symptoms may be vague and not as noticeable as the crushing chest
pain often associated with heart attacks. This might be because women tend
to have blockages not only in their main arteries but also in the smaller
ones that supply blood to the heart — a condition called small vessel heart
disease or coronary microvascular disease.

*Compared with men, women tend to have symptoms more often when resting, or
even when asleep Emotional stress can play a role in triggering heart
attack symptoms in women.*

Because women's heart attack symptoms can differ from men's, women might be
diagnosed less often with heart disease than are men. Women are more likely
than men to have a heart attack with no severe blockage in an artery
(nonobstructive coronary artery disease).

   - *Menopause.* Low levels of estrogen after menopause increase the
risk of developing disease in smaller blood vessels.
   - *Pregnancy complications.* High blood pressure or diabetes during
pregnancy can increase the mother's long-term risk of high blood pressure
and diabetes. These conditions also make women more likely to get heart
   disease.
   - *Family history of early heart disease.* This appears to be a greater
risk factor in women than in men.
   - *Inflammatory diseases.* Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other
inflammatory conditions may increase the risk of heart disease in both men
   and women.
   - *APART FROM REGULAR TREATMENTY OF OTHER DEFECTS MAINLY ALL SHALL *

   - *Eat a healthy diet.* Opt for whole grains, fruits and vegetables,
low-fat or fat-free dairy products, and lean meats. Avoid saturated or
trans fats, added sugars, and high amounts of salt.
   - *Exercise and maintain a healthy weight.* If you're overweight, losing
even a few pounds can lower heart disease risks. Ask your health care
provider what weight is best for you.
   - *Manage stress.* Stress can cause the arteries to tighten, which can
increase the risk of heart disease, particularly coronary microvascular
disease. Getting more exercise, practicing mindfulness and connecting with
others in support groups are some ways to tame stress.
   - *Some noted differences in heart disease treatment among men and women
   are:*
   - Women are less likely to be treated with aspirin and statins to
prevent future heart attacks than are men. However, studies show the
benefits are similar in both groups.
   - Women are less likely than men to have coronary bypass surgery,
perhaps because women have less obstructive disease or smaller arteries
   with more small vessel disease.
   - Cardiac rehabilitation can improve health and aid recovery from heart
disease. However, women are less likely to be referred for cardiac
   rehabilitation than men are.

2 It's a part of your endocrine system and secretes *the hormone
melatonin*. Your pineal gland's main job is to help control the circadian
cycle of sleep and wakefulness by secreting melatonin. The pineal gland is
shaped like a tiny pinecone, which is how it got its name (“pine”-al gland).

The name “third eye” *comes from the pineal gland's primary function of
'letting in light and darkness'*, just as our two eyes do. This gland is
the melatonin-secreting neuroendocrine organ containing light-sensitive
cells that control the circadian rhythm .

Can you function without a pineal gland?

*Yes, you can live without your pineal gland*. However, your body may have
a difficult time with sleeping patterns and other physiologic functions
related to the circadian rhythm without a pineal gland due to a lack of
melatonin. The pineal gland is key to the body's internal clock because *it
regulates the body's circadian rhythms*. Circadian rhythms are the daily
rhythms of the body, including signals that make someone feel tired, sleep,
wake up, and feel alert around the same time each day. If the pineal gland
is impaired, *it can lead to a hormone imbalance*, which can affect other
systems in your body. For example, sleep patterns are often disrupted if
the pineal gland is impaired. This can show up in disorders such as jet lag
and insomnia. The pineal gland held this seat because *it was thought to
be the only midline structure that was single and mobile*. Its singleness
allowed for a unity of inputs from the nervous system, and its mobility
allowed for redirection of airy spirits within the ventricles to animate.
Neurogenesis is impaired by reduced melatonin secretion in AD. Therefore,
the pineal gland dysfunction is related with the impaired neurogenesis,
leading to *memory loss in AD brain. Psychotropic drugs, particularly
antidepressants both tricyclics and monoamine oxidase inhibitors when
administered either to animals or to patients suffering from depressive
illness affects the pineal gland function and melatonin concentration.
Cyclic light input synchronizes the melatonin rhythm; second, acute light
exposure at night rapidly inhibits the release of melatonin.*

INTUTION: 1 : the ability to know something without having proof. 2
: something known without proof I had an intuition you'd come. Intuition is *a
form of knowledge that appears in consciousness without obvious
deliberation*. It is not magical but rather a faculty in which hunches are
generated by the unconscious mind rapidly sifting through past experience
and cumulative knowledge. An intuitive feeling *makes people pause and
notice small things that others might simply ignore*. Their minds remain
alert and focused. A hyper sense of observation means that an intuitive
person can easily access the information they need when it comes to making
a decision. However there ia nother called INSIGHT which is different from
the intution.

*Vedic sages call intuition as antahsphurana*. To put it
figuratively, intuition is God's whisper in the human heart, and therefore,
what it reveals is always true. Science is dependent on sense perception
and reason for its pursuit of knowledge, while spirituality uses the
additional means of intuition. Your intuition is what we call in Sanskrit-
'Buddhi' or *higher intelligence*. Intuition is a faculty of the higher
intelligence or the spiritual mind. It also goes by the popular name, the
sixth sense or the inner voice. Spiritual people have better intuitive
ability because they are well connected with their inner consciousness and
free from the usual distractions and disturbances of the mind. Spiritually
speaking, a calm and stable mind, which is free from afflictions, desires,
attachments and expectations, is better equipped to receive intuitive
thoughts and sublime messages.

From a spiritual perspective, your intuition may arise from within
yourself or from an external source such as a divine entity or the
Universal Mind when you are in harmony with it. While intuition is a
mysterious process, certain factors tend to increase our intuitive ability.
They are knowledge, experience, mindfulness or heightened observation,
pattern recognition, sensitivity, empathy, feelings, effective listening,
open mindedness, non-judgmental awareness, visualization and creativity.
People with years of experience in a particular field or profession develop
intuitive way of understanding things and make on the spot of judgments
about people and problems. Probably knowledge, experience, habit coupled
with confidence give them that unique ability and perspective. People who
are sensitive, introverted, spiritually inclined and those who practice
yoga, meditation, visualization and similar practices regularly also show
greater receptivity to intuitive and subliminal messages.

Your intuition arises from accumulated knowledge, wisdom and
experience. Its source is what we call in Sanskrit higher intelligence
(buddhi) which gives us the power of discernment or the ability to know one
thing from another. Ordinarily human intelligence is adulterated with many
impurities such as desires, greed, fear, anxiety, instability and other
afflictions and modifications. Therefore, self-purification and inner
transformation greatly enhance our intuitive faculty. A calm mind, a
healthy body, virtue, character and integrity are important factors to
cultivate intuition. Intuition suggests to the evolutionary possibilities
of human mind and in which direction we may eventually evolve as a species.

Intution is divided into 18 parts as:

Buddhi-ṛddhi (extraordinary intellect) is of eighteen subtypes namely:

1. omniscience (*kevala*),

2. telepathy/ mental modes reading (*manaḥparyaya*),

3. clairvoyance (*avadhi*),

4. seed intellect (*bīja*),

5. search-intellect (*koṣṭha*),

6. sounds discriminating intellect (*sambhinnaśrotri*),

7. syllable based intellect (*padānusārī*),

8. tele-touch intellect (*dūrasparśī*),

9. tele-taste intellect (*dūrasvādī*),

10. tele-smell intellect (*dūraghrāṇa-samartha*),

11. tele-hearing intellect (*dūraśravaṇa-samartha*),

12. tele-viewing intellect (*dūrāvalokana-samartha*),

13. authoritative knowledge of ten purvas (*daśapūrvī*),

14. authoritative knowledge of 14 purvas (*caturdaśapūrvī*),

15. eightfold prognosticate intellect (
*aṣṭāṅgamahānimittajñāna*),

16. self-owned intellect (*pratyekabuddha*),

17. debating capability (*vāditva*),

18. sagacity (*prajñāśramaṇatva*).

Now think what is intuition; Pineal glands by meditation controls
the buddhi ( Normally after sleep studying appears to be clearer than
before; why?. Light and dark controls the nervous system; so vibrates the
brain; Buddhi activates the mind in the right direction; thus analysis of
facts are aligned in a perfect square.

3 Bottom of feet: *Padabhyangam Therapy Procedure and How it Impacts the
Body ayurvedam*

There are several different techniques used in Padabhyangam to administer a
beneficial oil massage.

*Hand Techniques*

Sesame oil is the preferred oil in Padabhyanga because it is a powerful
antioxidant and is easily absorbed in the skin.

Cow ghee, Ksheerabala tailam, and Eranda tailam are also used. Mahamasha
tailam, Ksheerabala tailam, Mahanarayana tailam, Kottamchukkadi tailam,
Murivenna, Pinda tailam, Tiktaka ghritam, and Guggulutiktaka ghritam are
all medicated oils frequently used for the therapy as well.

Applying generous amounts of the medicated or herb oil on the foot and
massaging releases toxins. After liberally applying the oil to the soles,
heels, ankle joints, and legs, it is then rubbed energetically into the
bones of the joint and tendon. In general, this 30 minute massage can
extend up to an hour of stroking and rubbing the feet.

The energy points are focused upon with care to ensure they are activated.
They stimulate the flow of energy and direct it in the intended way. The
practitioner applies moderate pressure in circular motions to generate a
calming and rejuvenating experience.

*Kasa Bowl*

Ayurvedic treatments often include the extensive use of metals. Bowls made
from bronze and tin help eliminate toxins from the body. They also help
maintain body temperature and balance. Applying the strokes in circular
motions on the plantar surface particularly helps in blood circulation.
Copper, tin, and bronze are all popular and widely used. A small bronze
bowl called “kasa” is often coated with oil and warmed up to gently massage
the foot.

The feet are also exposed to the fumes of herbal decoctions, if required.

*Marma Therapy*

*Body Parts Treated in Padabhyangam Therapy*

Ayurveda illustrates that different parts of the feet correspond to
different organs in the body. The feet have pressure points called “marma”.
These are the energy centers that run throughout the body. When pressed, it
triggers the circulatory energies in the liver, kidneys, stomach, neck,
heart, head, and other organs.

In Ayurveda, five marmas (vital areas) out of 107 marmas are located in
each foot and they also contain many nerve endings. Padabhyanga helps
release all the negative energy from these marmas and contributes to good
health and well-being.

It is safe to say that Padabhyanga directly influences the subconscious
nature while simultaneously providing a psychological cleansing effect.

“Pada” in Sanskrit means “foot” and “abhyangam” means “massage using oils”.
Together, this means foot massage. This Ayurvedic therapy considers our
feet as the focal point of all energies that connect the body to the earth;
just the way the roots of a tree connect its branches, trunk, and leaves to
the mother earth. Nourishment of the root yields a good fruit, so
nourishment through Padabhyangam yields wellness of the body.

This therapy begins with applying lukewarm oil or ghee to the feet,
including soles, heels, ankle joints, and legs. Applying the oil liberally
allows instant purgation for detoxification. Many organs in the body have
nerves that terminate in the feet, so a therapy that focuses on treating
these nerves proves quite beneficial for those experiencing general health
and mind issues. Padabhyangam helps to strengthen these nerves and restores
health to many parts of the body.

*Diseases & Conditions Treated in Padabhyangam*

There are multiple health benefits of this therapy:

   - Padabhyanga relieves stiffness, dryness, and numbness of the leg and
   foot
   - Offers sturdiness and stability to the foot and limbs
   - Promotes healthy eyesight and hearing senses
   - Prevents/cures sciatica through enhanced blood circulation and
   improved peripheral circulation
   - Prevents foot ailments and relieves contraction of muscles, ligaments,
   and vessels of the feet
   - Prevents cracks in the foot and leaves the feel looking healthier and
   attractive
   - Padabhyanga reduces stress, calm the mind, and allows a rejuvenated
   mind and body
   - Relaxes and revitalizes the central nervous system
   - Removes fatigue from the lower limbs and improves quality of sleep
   - Activates metabolism, cures headaches, and prevents onset of
   degeneration
   - Helps to calm and maintain the “Vata Dosha” which in excess is
considered the main cause of major illnesses
   - Provides overall immunity to the body

*Conditions that are holistically treated in Padabhyanga include:*

   - Hypertension
   - Hemiplegia and paraplegia
   - Insomnia
   - Depression
   - Epilepsy
   - Diabetic neuropathy
   - Anxiety
   - Sprains, cramps, and numbness of the feet and legs
   - Roughness and cracking of the feet

*Who is Padabhyangam Therapy Recommended For?*

Padabhyangam, a soothing and calming massage, is highly recommended on a
daily basis before going to bed. A gentle massage including stroking and
rubbing of the foot generates better cardiovascular circulation in the foot
and helps you feel relaxed.
If you particularly experience fatigue, insomnia, grogginess or cramps, a
simple 15 minute foot massage may help relieve your condition. Foot
reflexology has a positive effect on the mind and body. The use of
Padabhyangam promotes healthy growth in children, allows adults to maintain
their vigor and strength, and helps prevent the onset of degenerative
diseases in older people. Padabhyangam should not be done when you have a
cold, fever, toxin-induced coma, blood infection, thrombosis, indigestion,
abnormal skin condition, or any circulatory disorder of the lower limbs. In
short, if you wish to rejuvenate and fortify your health, Padabhyangam is
the recommended therapy for you. KR IRS 6822
