Understanding by us, the humans, today, needs a connecting paradigmatic base. Unless there is a concept or paradigm, understanding is not possible. This is actually a disaster or catastrophe at the very foundation of conversion of perception into understanding, which today has put us into abyss of mechanization, where machines are doing the understanding for us, and making us become infatuated with understanding mechanically without emotional or hormonal and macro ramifications. Life really means experiencing understanding continuously. Once understanding was feeling in which every cell in one’s anatomy participated actively, with not one cell frozen. Understanding was automatic internal hormonal communication. Breathing was receiving and sending smell or emotional messages, which entered the blood stream, entered the capillaries and into and from every cell. The Brain functioned as the center where revelations flashed as brilliant ideas. Into this understanding every life form, the total flora and fauna participated with symbiotic inhaling and exhaling of the smell messages from the air. The troposphere functioned as the great editor, meeting to the particular understanding needs of each organism. But today we are under the mass hypnosis of surrendering to machines, making us surrender the function of every limb to some machine, where the machines do the understanding while we just note in our frozen bodies, no single muscle totally active, but only partially functioning. We are so jaded that we do not realize that mechanization is extermination of every organism of the Biosphere, while our own limbs are getting frozen due to disuse. We teach the students that human beings are economic humans, just the Newtonian machines without feelings, and the destruction of nature, dished as lessons, under the headings of consumption,production,exchange and distribution,is the science under which the aristocrat specie the human lives. Every other organism of the Biosphere is just economic resource and the royal indifference to their continuing tragedies is scientific temperament. We do not even realize that we are presiding over the extinction of the Biosphere now happening. While this extinction is happening we individually live not in understanding but in fighting throughout our lives, misunderstandings. Misunderstanding takes over so completely, it develops into hormonal communication and the mere mention of the name of the person you dislike or hate triggers the hate hormones in you. We lost help from the great editor, the troposphere. The troposphere has been ousted from its basic function of helping us in understanding in nature, as nature, and we are under the shackles of the mechanical or Cartesian understanding. As an individual, you may start your little to revive, understanding in nature, as nature. Start a small garden, feel that you are the garden, and start perception via breathing, smelling and sensing. You cannot put that understanding experience into the Cartesian or mechanical framework as the understanding is emotional or biased as termed in sciences today, here bias becomes the foundation. Forget mathematics and mechanics, as no feeling and emotion can be quantified or subjected to mathematical reductionism.E; the emotion can never be quantified as mc2. The biggest menaces to the Biosphere or nature are the universities of today. The very paradigm of their functioning and existence, the Cartesian or mechanical paradigm has to be undone.
