The more machines you employ, the less you use your limbs. The more you use computers to do research, the less you use your biological faculties to think and perceive. The more machines you use, the more redundance and frozen your body and mind. The destruction of nature started with the emergence of technologies and today the destruction is fast sliding down towards catastrophe, and we have developed scholarly indifference to the doom. Many island nations are expected to sink and vanish into the sea, many big port cities, whole coastlines, are predicted for being submerged into the sea, but we carry on with more and more mechanization, unmindful of our personal loss of functioning limbs in the shape of frozen and dysfunctional muscles. And like the happy lunatics in the mental asylum we are happy that Robots are taking over as our rulers. The catastrophic destruction of nature started with the industrial revolution and today our very awareness of the basic minus side of mechanization has dimmed. The very basis of life, feeling, which means feeling nature is becoming impossible, as nature is destroyed at a very rapid pace, leaving nothing to feel. In the Hindu path there were millions of Gods and Goddesses. In fact every life form was taken as a form of the Divine, radiating emotional interaction. The God sprout or emotion form or simply organism, joined the inhalation of smell and music based inspirations and exhaled its inspiration into the air, creating the ever growing inspiration multipliers and enlightenment multipliers. Nature absorbed every organism as an integral part of its living and functioning anatomy. In the Hindu path there was also the most hateful perversion, animal sacrifice, which is continuing even today. Killing the helpless animals in the name of God, almost in every religion except in Jainism, creates the basic jaded attitude, making the religious text meaningless. I often hear the most interesting discourses of Jaggi Vasu Dev.But I am yet to hear him saying that the other life forms also shall be included in the discourses, for which, smelling, hearing and sensing, must be adopted. He started the movement ‘Save the Soil’. I do not know what he really means by soil. Soil is Soil bacteria, the basic forms of life, not lifeless dirt. Soil is emotional and has feelings and emotions, the basic floor of consciousness, of the Biosphere on the surface of the lithosphere. One has to inhale the smell messages from the soil, and exhale one’s inspiration, to live as the planet earth, via feeling as living. Suppose in the debates, one not only talks but also smells from the other organisms, to include the paradigmatic bases of understanding of the other organisms. The flow of words will reduce and one enters into the flow of feelings, via smelling and subconscious sensing. I often wonder about the paradigmatic bases of understanding of the other life forms, in free, lush and thick forests. Unfortunately, ‘we’, who means all humans, are under the grip of anthropocentric stupidity. It means, we are under the delusion that the whole nature is foolish while we the humans only are intelligent. We have taken license to impose technology on nature, harm, wound, kill, poison and contaminate nature. We call it economic life and if we harm more, it is economic prosperity, and we have simply assumed that the human is economic man, the Newtonian machine, though not as perfect as Robots, our new rulers. When you read a book, you are really not learning. Only in free, lush and thick nature you learn by feeling, and feeling is the only method of learning. The least any University can do is to add free nature to its library. YM -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thatha_Patty" group.
