The people told him that it is available in plenty for their use! The greedy Drae simply massacred all those people with cannons, and looted as much silver as his ship would hold and sailed away to England! In appreciation of this "heroic" act he was conferred knighthood ! 2 Yes sir; Francis Drake name many may not know; the British history covered his villainy over Peru and islands of south America, and conferred Knighthood for bringing treasure and his effort in SPANISH ARMADA.
