Q1         Why there is blackout in Jagannath Puritemple once in 12 years?

A1         Surendra Kumar Kumawat, Jun 19

On June 20, the king of Jagannath Puri dusted gold withhis own hands during the
Lord Jagannath Yatra.

MahaprabhuJagannath is also called the Lord of Kali Yuga. Jagannath Mahaprabhu
lives inPuri with his sister Subhadra and brother Balarama. There are such
secretswhich no one has been able to know till date.

Every 12 years the idol of Mahaprabhu is changed,at that time the whole city of
Puri is blacked out i.e. the lights of the wholecity are extinguished. After
the lights are switched off, the CRPF forcessurround the temple premises from
all sides. At that time no one can enter thetemple.

Cause of blackout

It is dark insidethe temple. The priest is blindfolded. The priest has gloves
on his hands. Theytake out the "Brahma substance" from the old idol and put it
in thenew idol.Till date no one knows what this Brahma substance is. No one has
seen it tilldate. For thousands of years it is being transferred from one idol
to another.

This Brahma substance is related to Lord Shri Krishna. But what is this, no one
knows. This wholeprocess happens once in every 12 years, at that time the
security is very high. But till date no priest has been able to tell that what
is there in the idol ofMahaprabhu Jagannath?

Some priestssay that when we took him in our hands, he was jumping like a
rabbit. There wasa bandage on the eyes, there were gloves in the hands, so we
could only feel. But that is the heart of Lord Krishna...

Q2         Are foxes dangerous?

A2         RI Shohag 7h

Foxes are usuallylike this:

They have nointerest in meeting you. However, two things you need to keep in
mind when facing a fox... never cornerhim... most foxes will change from what
you see above... to..In an instant.

They don't want confrontation, but they do so at theirown risk.

Secondly, foxes are very quick and agile, if it's ahungry fox with pups to
feed, it will sink itsfangs into you, and when it finally does, you'll go
straight to the hospital. Foxes don't chase humans, it's theother way around.

Q3         Can you tell a Life changingmotivational story?

A3         Kaushal, Jun 8

One was a beggar! While begging in the train journey, he saw Seth ji wearing a
suit boot. Hethought that this person looks very rich, he will definitely give
me good moneyif I beg him. He started begging from that Seth.

Seeing the beggar, that Seth said, "You always beg, doyou ever give anything to
anyone?"

The beggar said,"Sir, I am a beggar, I always beg from people, where is my
status that Ican give something to someone?"

Seth :- When youcannot give anything to anyone, then you have no right to even
ask. I am a businessman and believein transaction only, if you have something
to give me then only I can give yousomething in return.

Only then thestation came where that Seth had to get down, he got off the train
and left.

Here the beggarstarted thinking about what Seth had said. The words spoken by
Seth entered theheart of that beggar. He started thinking that maybe I don't
get much money inbegging because I am not able to give anything to anyone in
return. But I am abeggar, I am not even capable of giving anything to anyone.
But how long will I keep onbegging without giving anything to the people.

After thinking alot, the beggar decided that whatever person gives him alms, he
will definitelygive something to that person in return. But now the question
was running inhis mind that he himself is a beggar, so what can he give to
others in returnof alms?

The whole daypassed thinking about this but he could not find any answer to his
question.

The other day whenhe was sitting near the station, he saw some flowers which
were blooming on theplants around the station, he thought, why not give some
flowers instead of alms to the people. He liked this idea of his and
pluckedsome flowers from there.

He reached to beg in the train. Whenever someone gave himalms, he would give
some flowers in return. People happily kept those flowerswith them. Now the
beggar used to pluck flowers everydayand in return of alms he used to
distribute those flowers among the people.

The begger  used to pluck all the flowers near thestation. As long as flowers
remained with him, many people used to give himalms. But when theflowers were
finished while being distributed, then he did not even get alms, now it
continued like this everyday.

One day when he wasbegging, he saw the sameSeth sitting in the train, because
of which he was inspired to giveflowers instead of alms.

He immediatelyreached to that person and said begging, today I have some
flowers to give you, you give me alms, I willgive you some flowers in return.

Seth gave him somemoney as alms and the beggar gave him some flowers. That Seth
liked this verymuch.

Seth :- Wow what'sthe matter..? Today you have also become a businessman like
me, saying this, hetook the flower and got down at the Seth station.

But what was saidby that Seth once again entered the heart of that beggar. He
started thinkingabout what that Seth had said again and again and became very
happy. His eyesstarted shining now, he felt that now he has got the key to
success in hishands by which he can change his life.

He immediately gotdown from the train and excitedly looking up at the sky said
in a very loudvoice, "I am not a beggar, I am a businessman..I too canbecome
like that Seth.. I too can become rich!

When people sawhim, they thought that maybe this beggar had gone mad, from the
next day that beggarwas never seen again at that station.

A year later, two persons were traveling at the samestation wearing suit boots.
When both saw each other, oneof them bowed to the other with folded hands and
said, "Did you recognize me?"

Seth :- ′′ Otherwise! Maybe we are meeting for the firsttime.

Beggar :- Seth ji..You remember, we are meeting not for the first time but for
the third time.

Seth: I can'tremember, when did we meet twice before?

Now the firstperson smiled and said:

We met twice before in the same train, I am the same beggarwhom you told in the
first meeting what I should do in life and in the secondmeeting you told me who
I really am.

As a result, today I am a very big trader of flowers and I am going to another
city for thework of this business.

You told me the lawof nature in the first meeting... according to which we get
something only whenwe give something. This rule of transaction really works, I
have felt it verywell, but I always thought of myself as a beggar, I never
thought of risingabove it and when I met you for the second time, you told me
that I have becomea businessman. Now I understood that I have not really become
a beggar but abusinessman.

It's a matter of understanding...

As long asthe beggar considered himself a beggar, he remained a beggar. He
consideredhimself a businessman, became a businessman.

The day we willunderstand who I am...Then what will be left to know and
understand?

My note-Story with a good morale.

Q6         What happened to BSNL landlineconnections in India? Why are they not
available anymore?

A6         Pranav Kulkarni,B.E from SinhgadCollege of Engineering, Pune
(Graduated 2023)Feb 17

BSNL (BharatSanchar Nigam Limited) is a state-owned telecommunications company
in Indiathat provides landline and mobile phone services, as well as broadband
andother data services. BSNL landline connections are still available in
India, although their popularity has declined in recent years due to the
widespreadavailability and increasing affordability of mobile phones and
wirelessInternet services.

One of the main reasons for the declinein BSNL landline connections is the
increasing use of mobile phones, whichprovide greater mobility and convenience
compared to landline phones.

Many people prefer to use mobile phones as their primarymeans of communication,
especially in urban areas where mobile coverage iswidespread.

In addition, therise of wireless broadband services, such as 4G and 5G, has
made it easier and more affordablefor people to access high-speed Internet
without the need for a landlineconnection. This has further reduced the demand
for BSNL landline connections, especially among younger generations who are more
likely to use mobile devicesfor their communication and data needs.

Despite thesetrends, BSNL continues to offer landline connections in India and
has takensteps to modernize and upgrade its infrastructure to provide better
services toits customers. BSNL hasalso launched new plans and services to
attract customers, including bundledpackages that combine landline, mobile, and
broadband services at competitiveprices.

However, the decline in demand for landline connectionsis likely to continue as
more people switch to mobile phones and wirelessInternet services for their
communication and dataneeds.
